Let me Try - Mechs & Mercs: Black Talons (PC Game on Steam)

Another RTS... another half-backed product...this seems to be the way to go for this specific genre lately...

Let's get into it...

The graphics are decent considering the price and i would like to highlight the good physics the game has.

The sound does the job and i would even consider it above average considering it always sets the correct mood without ever annoying me or being in your face.

When it comes to controls... there is nothing special here... if you are familiar with RTS controls. They could have done some improvements in this area considering you can not send units out via the mini-map. Unfortunately the units are not always responsive when trying to issue a get to cover command for multiple squads.

The range indicator is off... it either shows the range incorrectly or the AI is not working properly.

Speaking of the AI... there is some work here to be done, you can see what i mean in my first impressions video, basically the units don't always want to do what you want to do.. for no good reason.

I can not speak of the AI as i didn't get deep into this tittle. Apparently there are some issues when it comes to unit balance according to comments/reviews on steam. Always do your research before making your mind-up about purchasing a product.

Now.. i will recommend because i don't think it's as bad as people say...but with two IF's : 

1) Wait for the dev to fix the issues the game has so far.

2) Wait for a decent steam discount... maybe at least a 30% off.

Let me Try - JUJU (PC Game on Steam)

JuJu is a delightful platformer aimed at a more casual crowd. Make no mistake thou, this is a modern platformer having all the elements it needs.

It's not a particularly hard game but then again you will not exactly play it with one had. There are secret areas to complete and bosses to beat!
Perhaps a ideal crowd for this specific tittle would be children but any fun loving adult can enjoy it as-well.

There is 2 player co-op either both on keyboard or controller or one of each. You can drop in and out of co-op without needing to restart or go back to a checkpoint or any of that nonsense, just drop in and drop out.

My only issue with JUJU is that it seems to be tailored more for girls then for boys. There is a male version of JUJU which you can play in CO-OP but you cant use said character in single player... which i find really odd.

Let me Try - Distance (Early Access PC Game on Steam)

A solid racer overall, it has all the elements to be both fun and competitive, following that hard to obtain recipe of easy to learn but hard to master.

It is also a ton of fun if you have somebody to play with, either online or split screen for which you can have up to 4 players on the same screen. 

So in short... Drive fast, be quick to avoid obstacles and keep your eyes on the track!

I had no issues with the game being completely fictional and very polished for a early access tittle.

Heroes of the Storm - Jaina Gameplay

Ever since this year's Blizzcon took place, everybody was waiting for this release. and ... it is understandable.

As most of you know, Jaina is coming from  the Warcraft universe. She's a sorceress. She was sent to investigate the situation in Northland Lordaeron, and to uncover if the plague had magical origins. She was escorted by her best friend, Price Arthas Menethil. If you don't know all the story you can read the book, and no,it wont snow in hell if you do, or ...just go and play Warcraft 3, because the story is awesome

So, in Heroes of the Storm Jaina is a Ranged Assassin.

While the actual video focuses on the gameplay, i'm planing to play her more, and we will be coming back with a build/ maybe even guide video.
