Pyrana Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - The Ravenous Beast (Warframe Gameplay)

Limbo Prime did not come alone, he brought us the Destreza and Pyrana Prime. Initially I didn't like the weapon very much but the more I played with it, the more I understood how it functions and it should be built the more I liked it. The quirky proc it has could see some improvements, as you don't get much use of it as it stands today. Overall it's a very good secondary weapon but it's not among the heavyweights, which is somewhat justified given its MR 13 lockout.

Hello and welcome back. As always, my name is Leyzar and today we are gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 13 secondary weapon. I have a couple of builds laid out for you guys, something cheap and affordable, something anybody can get into, but of course we also have the "Endgame set up" with a Riven. That being said please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually take a more New Player Friendly approach, simply because there's a lot of information here, and I want anybody watching this video to understand how the weapon functions and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game ... please bear with me. And with that out of the way let's jump into the Pyrana Prime.

As you probably already know, we will start by checking how the weapon handles without any Mods equipped, and then we make a short analysis of the stats, their usefulness and the some of the differences between Pyrana Prime and the original version. (video)

My weapon's Mod Capacity is 60 out of 60, but if your Pyrana Prime has only 30 out of 30 then you have the option to plug in an Orokin Catalyst. This can be found from Invasions. alerts or ...if you are lucky....from the Daily Sortie. My weapon has been format a total of 5 times, but this was done mostly for the purpose of testing; For the weapon build I'm recommending you guys ...3 forma should do it.

So let's start slapping on some Mods:
Hornet Strike - worth of 220 % Damage - this is mandatory, it should be present on any of your secondary builds; Next off let's look towards Crit Chance and Crit Damage. As we talked we can't really play into status because again .... this is a shotgun and because of how status chance functions for this weapon (this part have been fully covered in the video), so we're gonna go heavily into Crit Chance and Crit Damage. When it comes to Crit Chance and Crit Damage of course you have a couple of options: if you guys have Prime versions of any of the Mods that I recommend ... Then please use your Prime versions. For the sake of presentation and outlining what the weapon can do initially we're gonna go without the Prime ones. So Pistol Gambit - 120 % Crit Chance bumping it up to 52.8% and, of course, a high Crit Chance is worthless without high Multipliers so adding Target Cracker  - 60% Crit Damage bumping up our multiplier to 3.5x.

Of course these are not your only options when it comes to Crit Chance and Crit Damage.
