Knell Build 2018 (Guide) - From Zero to Hero (Warframe)

Just by looking at the stats of the Knell you don't see much of anything. The true power of this weapon lies in its special buff that can stack-up three times and transforms the weapon into an absolute power-house. While the build is rather basic, the weapon does require a lot of the player, and consistent head-shots will be necessary to get the most of the Knell.
As soon as the three stacks are up, the weapon goes Godlike and I would recommend you try some fire-rate and pepper your targets in order to make it easier to get constant buff refreshes.

Hey guys, hello and welcome back! As always, my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Ranked 10 secondary weapon - The Knell.

I'm gonna be covering a cheap build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course we also have the classic "Endgame" setup with  a Riven. That being said, though please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more new player friendly approach, simply because I want anybody watching this to understand how the weapon functions and how it should be built, so, if you're a veteran of the game and already know most of the stuff, then please bear with me.

Now, with that out of the way, let's jump into the Knell. As per the usual, we begin by checking how the weapon handles without any mods equipped and for that I'm gonna need a couple of targets. You will see that the Knell only has one shot in a clip, and it also kind of has like a sniper-esque scope, even though you don't have a controllable zoom. Now, normally again, one shot in a clip then you have to reload and the total ammo of the Knell is only ten or twelve, so that seems very little, but upon head-shot you will be receiving a buff called Death Knell, you'll also see that the graphics on the scope will change. When you get at least one stack of this buff, you will receive unlimited ammo and no reload. That's all, so basically you can keep on firing forever and ever, as long as you refresh the buff. The buff called Death Knell can stack up a total of three times, each time you'll be getting 20% status chance and 0.5 crit multiplier, that is critical damage. That being said please keep in mind that this benefit is an additive after bonus, and I'll explain more on that a bit later, but for now let's jump in the stats to see precisely what we're dealing with.

First let's remove all the buffs from Harrow, just to make sure we're not cheating with any buffs.

Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Knell only has 30 out of 30, then jump into actions and
install an Orokin Catalyst (check the build video to find out how to do it)

My weapon has been format a total of seven times, but this was done for the purpose of testing. For the weapon builds I'm recommending you guys ... for - five forma should do it.
It is a Forma Heavy Weapon, because the Knell by default doesn't come with any polarity at all. Accuracy is 42 - now this is absolutely Godlike for a pistol. Keep in mind that the fable, the Lex Prime has only 16, this is sniper level of accuracy - absolutely phenomenal - so it will reward those high skill players that can actually land head-shots.

Critical chance is 20% and Crit Multi is 1.5. Now I would call this one decent towards weak, but keep in mind that Death Knell buff you will be getting on head-shots. It will give you 0.5 Crit Multiplier per stack, and you can stack it up a total of 3 times. Each stack will last for two seconds, so for example if you stack it up all the way to 3 stacks, you're gonna be getting a Crit multiplier of 3.0, two stacks 2.5, one stack 2.0, this is an additive After Bonus, so keep that one in mind
