Twin Kohmak Build 2018 (Guide) - The Wild Boars (Warframe Gameplay)

In general I prefer precise weapons, but there is something to be said about the destructive power of the Twin Kohmak. It lacks in accuracy and the ammunition consumption is outrageous, but with the right riven mod the weapon comes to live annihilating everything that stands before it (and sometimes to the side of it).

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always, my name is Leyzar and today were gonna be diving deeper into this mastery rank 10 Secondary Weapon, the Twin Kohmak. As per usual, we're gonna be covering a standard build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course, we also have the classic endgame set up with a Riven. That being said, though, please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more New Player Friendly approach, simply because there's a lot of info here, and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions, and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game, and already know most of the stuff then please bear with me. Now, with that out of the way, let's jump into the Twin Kohmak Build.

We will begin by checking out how the Twin Kohmak handles without any mods equipped, and a short stats analysis. Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Twin Kohmak only has 30 out of 30  then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst. (In the video below you can find out how to obtain and how to use Orokin Catalyst).

My weapon has been format a total of six times, but this was done mainly for the purpose of testing. For the weapon builds I'm recommending you guys ... 2-3 forma should do it. I'm gonna skip the stats analysis, as it has been covered extensively in the video down below.

Let's start slapping on some mods, starting with the mandatory mods for the Twin Kohmak. Hornet Strike, of course, 220 percent extra damage. Next we're going to go into Multi Shot with Barrel Diffusion - 120% multi shot, and Lethal Torrent - 60% fire rate and 60% multi shot. The fire rate really comes in useful, because you get to go to the maximum spool of effect - the maximum fire rate - a whole lot faster. It can get a bit annoying when you start shooting, just keep in mind that the Twin Kohmak does fire more pellets at full fire rate, so the initial pellets will have (the initial pellet it fires only one bullet first time) will have a very good status chance.

Next we could go into Crit Chance and Crit Damage or we can go into full Status effects. The problem is ... this is still a shotgun, and all the status chance will get divided among the pallets, unless we get a 100% status chance, before Multi Shot effects. Multi Shot effects on pellet based weapons can trick you when it comes to status chance.

As you can see in the video down below, here my status chance is 51.9, but this one will get divided among the pellets ... and i will give you a clear example.

In Conclusion:
The general build is rather straight forward and it will result in a decent secondary weapon, especially if you enjoy dual shotguns, but in order to get the most out of it you will need a specific riven mod which is something I don't particularly like.

Everything considered, if you can get a 95% plus status chance riven then absolutely go for the Twin Kohmak, if not then it may be worth exploring other secondary options.
