Daikyu Build 2018 (Guide) - Legolas in Space (Warframe)

Although Warframe is set in a futuristic setting, we do get to play around with a few bows, including The Daikyu. This one was a bit of a challenge to test and rustle the best builds but ultimately I'm happy of how the weapon performs. There are a few build options depending on what mods you have available. You can chose to go for raw damage and just pack as much as you can on it while including Spring Loaded Broad-head or you can try for a slash oriented build through the use of Hunter Munitions, or the weapons innate slash damage.

Hello and welcome back, as always, my name is Leyzar and today we will be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 10 primary weapon - The Daikyu. As per usual, we're gonna be covering a standard build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course, we also have the classic endgame set up with a Riven. That being said, though, please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more New Player Friendly approach, simply because there's a lot of info here, and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions, and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game, and already know most of the stuff then please bear with me.
Now, with that out of the way, let's jump into the Daikyu Build.

As per the usual, we will be starting by checking how the Daikyu handles without any mods equipped, and a short analysis of the stats. Next: Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Daikyu only has 30 out of 30,  then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst. (In the video below you can find out how to obtain and how to use Orokin Catalyst).

My weapon has been format a total of eight times, but this was done because ...i am crazy.... For the weapon builds I'm recommending you guys ... 3-4 forma should do it. I'm gonna skip the stats analysis, as it has been covered extensively in the video down below.

http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/SerrationLet's start slapping on some mods, and as per usual, we're gonna start off with raw damage, and there is nothing more raw than Serration -  a hundred and sixty-five % extra damage ....

There's something to be said about Heavy Caliber, and to be honest, on bows I don't honestly recommend it. Is not that the main arrow gets a horrible accuracy ... it's that the multi shots fly really weird, so I don't recommend Heavy Caliber, at least not on this type of weapon.

Next we're gonna go into Multi Shot, the best thing on everything, and Split Chamber is mandatory - 90 % Multi Shot. Basically means that you have a 90 percent chance per shot to fire one additional arrow, and you can also take into account Vigilante Armaments for another 60 %. If you were to slap both of these on, you would have a guaranteed second arrow per shot, and a 50% chance at a third arrow. So Multi Shot is a very big deal currently in Warframe.

Please check the link below to see the full Daikyu Build Video and to find out more about the recommended mods and builds, slash build, hunter munitions, the riven setup for Daikyu and other useful information (including the testing of the Daikyu)

Conclusion:Overall the Daikyu can be a strong bow although it's worth having a look at the Rakta Cernos and the Dread as-well.
