Lenz Build 2018 (Guide) - The Space Bow (Warframe Gameplay)

Just as soon as I think that Warframe showcases to many "classic" weapons I find something like this.
The Lenz is a futuristic take on the Bow and it's wicked fun to use while being a bit dangerous as-well. While it does have many usability issues that can make it a niche pick there is no denying its destructive area of effect power this unique weapons has. If you want to try-out a "space bow" then look no further then the Lenz!

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 8 Primary Weapon. I have a couple of builds laid out for you guys, something cheap and affordable, something anybody can get into, but we also have an endgame setup with a Riven to check out some "endgame potential". Considering the weapons low mastery lockout I will be keeping my New Player Friendly tone, so if you're a veteran of the game ... please bear with me.And with that out of the way let's jump into the Lenz.

First off let's take a general presentation of the weapon because it is very important to understand how it functions precisely. So I'm gonna be taking about 30 meters away from the wall and I'm gonna take a couple of free shots. First of all you will notice that the charge time for the Lenz is quite long, longest of all the bows in the game.
There are 3 types of damage which will be applied: First of all the impact damage from your arrow connecting to your target; Second of all, on impact you will have sort of a frost shock which is a guaranteed frost status effect, it will slow down all the targets and it'll also deal a very small amount of frost damage, and third one the main star of the show: the explosion which will deal blast damage.
You also notice that my ammo has kind of disappeared. That is because the Lenz only has a maximum of 6 ammo, however it does have a built in arrow mutation, meaning that you're gonna be able to pick up any type of ammo from the ground, and it will be converted into Lenz ammo, and that's kind of the gist of it.

Let's jump into stats and see exactly what we're dealing with: First of all my mod capacity is 60 out of 60 and if your Lenz only has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and plug in an Orokin Catalyst. The Orokin Catalyst can be found from alerts, invasions, especially after Dev streams, or, if you're lucky, from the daily sortie. If you do not have access to the sortie at this point ... simply progress further for
the story and you will. My weapon has been format a total of five times but this was done for the purpose of testing. For the weapon build I'm recommending you guys ... 4 should prove sufficient.

Accuracy is 16.7, which for a bow is pretty much standard. This is a pretty good accuracy, you are not gonna have any issues ... except if you slap on Heavy Caliber. Now, if you slap on Heavy Caliber ...  the accuracy lost when it comes to the explosion, which again is the main trick of the Lenz, is  ... negligible. the only thing you're really losing is the initial impact from the arrow, because again, it will become a little bit tricky to control, but I'm going to show to you that a bit later.
