Dex Sybaris Build 2018 (Guide) - The Burst Slasher (Warframe)

I was one of the fortunate players that got the Dex Sybaris at low MR so it came as a huge upgrade. At that time I didn't know much about building weapons so for a while it laid dormant in my arsenal but now it's finally time to unlock it's full potential.

Hello and welcome back, as always, my name is Leyzar and today we will be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 7 primary weapon - The Dex Sybaris. As per the usual, we're gonna be covering a standard build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course, we also have the classic endgame set up with a Riven. 

First of all we are checking how the weapon behaves without any mods equipped. (video) and take a look at the stats.

Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Dex Sybaris only has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and plug in an or Orokin Catalyst. The Orokin Catalyst can be found from alerts, invasions, especially after a Dev stream, or you can get it from the daily sortie, or you have the option of paying 20 Plat for it.

My weapon has been format a total of 5 times but this was done for the purpose of testing. For the weapon build I'm gonna be recommending you guys, 3 forma should do it.

Next, we are taking a look at the mods, starting with the mandatory ones. Serration - 165 % extra damage. Next we're gonna go into Multi shot with Split Chamber and Vigilante Armaments, and this will total a hundred and fifty percent Multi Shot between these two. That means that I'm gonna be getting a guaranteed second bullet with each and every shot, and a 50% chance at a third bullet. Also, considering the fact that the Dex Sybaris is primarily a Crit weapon, I will be getting some benefit out of the set bonus from Vigilante Armaments as well.

Conclusion:

In terms of build you do have an option but my recommendation would be to work with the weapon's strength and go for a critical build focused around slashes obtained through Hunter Munitions. You can go for either Viral damage or simply amp-up the critical chance and damage depending on what mods you have available, both builds being very efficient.

Another awesome burst rifle that can pack one hell of a punch, the only issue being availability since this one can only be obtained from the yearly Warframe Anniversary celebration.
