Opticor Vandal VS Opticor - The Cannon Conundrum (Warframe Gameplay)

I called the Opticor Vandal a side-grade to the standard Opticor and my opinion has not changed but in putting them side by side I'm hoping you would have an easier time picking a favorite.

This has been one of the more difficult comparisons for me as I'm simply not capable of picking a clear winner. Maybe I'm a bit bias but I still believe it's a matter of preference rather than anything else.
No matter which Opticor you chose to build the experience and results is totally worth it in my book.

Boltor Prime VS Telos Boltor - The Impalers Showdown (Warframe Gameplay)

I've seen this question pop-up many times. Which is better? The Boltor Prime or the Telos Boltor? Time to find out!

In terms of performance, the weapons are similar despite the fact that one leans heavily into status chance and the other into critical chance critical damage combo. Needless to say, you should be satisfied with either build so it becomes a question of preference rather than anything else.

The Telos Boltor offers a bit more build diversity thanks to the fact that it can make use out of Hunter Munitions and it also offers an innate syndicate effect. Both of these arguments combined with the rather similar performance put the Telos Boltor in front but if this was a beauty contest than the Prime would have the upper hand.

Stug Build 2019 (Guide) - It Broke Me (Warframe Gameplay)

Many say that the Kraken and Seer are the worst secondary weapons in the game but clearly, they have not used the Stug.

The weapon fires explosive balls that will stick to surfaces, can be stacked-up and explode dealing AoE Corrosive damage after a short amount of time.
Riven Disposition is also five out of five but the only real way to get this weapon to deal a decent amount of damage is to use Warframe buffs and Arcanes.
There's not much else I can say about the Stug except that this is a true blue Mastery Fodder weapon and should only be built for the mastery points. A full rework is necessary on this one, pretty please.

Quatz Build 2019 (Guide) - The Combo Shot (Warframe Gameplay)

I always get excited when I see new weapons in Warframe and today I have the pleasure of showcasing what the Quatz can do.
The weapon features two fire mods, one from the hip which is automatic and burst similar to the Quartak in scope mode. You can use auto while aiming down sights but you need to zoom-in while firing from the hip.
The two fire modes have different stats, the auto leans more on stratus and the burst on critical chance plus critical damage and in combination with how the weapon functions we can use a mix between the two. Starting from the hip than zooming on the targets head, interrupt fire for a second then continue into burst mode. The way I see things this provides an interesting way of applying either more status or crit to your targets.

The Quatz also has an interesting gimmick. If you allow the magazine to fully empty the reload animation will generate an area of effect electricity pulse which will crowd control targets. It can be very useful to not allow targets to interrupt your reload and get easy head-shots but it would have been more efficient if the pulse would have occurred more towards the start of the animation rather than its end.

Overall I like this secondary weapon as its gimmick does carry some weight and the two fire modes blend nicely together. Riven Mods right now for the Quatz are very expensive but if you want to get the most out of it than the investment is worth it as the weapon can pack a serious punch. Recommend.

Efficient Beams on the Convectrix is Awesome (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the awesome new rewards of Nightwave we fine Efficient Beams which is an augment for the Convectrix shotgun.
I was not expecting that much of this one but with the true one hundred percent status chance with just the augment and two sixty-sixty mods we can observe a new level of performance from the weapon build. The ammo consumption component is also nice and it does make the weapon a bit more comfy to use but I wish the beams would have just started in the middle from the get-go.

Overall and very nice augment and welcomed power spike for the Convectrix. Try to leverage a riven mod for it since at the current time they are quite cheap.

Seer Build 2019 (Guide) - Almost Decent (Warframe Gameplay)

In Warframe we are treated to all sorts of weapons. Some stronger, some weaker and the Seer would definitively qualify for the second category. That said, it doesn't mean that with a lot of resources and some time you can't make this weapon into something half-decent. For the most part it should be treated as a mastery fodder weapon as there are a lot of superior secondary weapons that you can sink your resources into.
Critical chance and multiplier are abysmal, the status chance is decent at thirteen percent and the base damage is not that bad but it's an equal spread between Impact, Puncture, and Slash. You can try to make it this weapon into a status slasher but the results are discouraging the say the least.

So who is this gun for? I'd say for veteran players of Warframe that seek a challenge but that's pretty much it. Solid pass on this one unless you're simply curious.

Warframe - New Nightwave Season "The Emissary"

Tennocon 2019 revealed a lot of goodies that will be released sometime in the future but for now, we get to enjoy a new series of Nightwave called The Emissary and it features a lot of new interesting rewards including some intriguing cosmetics and weapon augments:
Efficient Beams, Exposing Harpoon, Meticulous Aim.
It looks to me that these mods are trying to revive some interest for weapons that normally don't see that much play and I love the idea.
I'll be bringing the full details as soon as I can get my hands on them and the Umbra Forma also makes a return!
