Thrown weapons in Warframe have never really a glory period, never really been Meta Weapons but you should not let that stop you from enjoying something as cool as the Spira Prime!
As with most thrown weapon it fires in the form of an underhand throw and an overhand throw. Both projectiles land in the same spot but they take slightly different routes. The fire-rate is solid, the trigger is automatic and the reload is lightning quick. Pity about the magazine being at only twelve.
Thankfully the critical stats are very good with a thirty base and a awesome three point zero multiplier.
Status chance however is a different story, being stuck and a modest fourteen percent. This would not be so suboptimal if we were not dealing with a only a few projectiles per second but it is what it is.
For a build I'd recommend going for the biggest wallop that you can with Corrosive and a touch of heat or you can go for even more critical chance. With the normal version of pistol gaming and hydraulic crosshairs you go over one hundred percent critical chance. And if that was not good enough the riven disposition is also high and the prices for Spira Rivens are super low.
