Offense Role Genji Gameplay on the new Hollywood map in the Overwatch Closed Beta. Still a noob at gameplay and learning as I go, trying to get back in the FPS rhythm. It appears there will be no Beta key | keys and accounts are flagged for access as was the case with the Heroes of the Storm Alpha/Beta testing
The cyborg Genji Shimada has made peace with the augmented body he once rejected, and in doing so, he has discovered a higher humanity.
As the youngest son of the master of the Shimada ninja clan, Genji lived a life of luxury and privilege. He had little interest in the family's illegal businesses, and although he excelled at and enjoyed his ninja training, he spent most of his time pursuing a playboy lifestyle. Many within the clan considered the carefree Genji to be a dangerous liability, and they resented his father for coddling and protecting him. Following the clan leader's untimely death, Genji's older brother, Hanzo, demanded that Genji take a more active role in their late father's empire. Genji refused, enraging Hanzo. The tension between the brothers built to a violent confrontation that left Genji on the verge of dying.
Hanzo believed that he had killed his brother, but Genji was rescued by Overwatch and the intervention of Dr. Angela Ziegler. The global security force saw Genji as a potential asset in its ongoing operations to combat the Shimada clan. As Genji's injuries left him clinging to life, Overwatch offered to rebuild his body in exchange for his help. He was put through an extensive process of cyberization, which enhanced his natural speed and agility and augmented his superlative ninja skills. Transformed into a living weapon, Genji single-mindedly set about the task of dismantling his family's criminal empire.
But as time passed, Genji felt increasingly at war with himself. He was repulsed by the mechanical parts of his body and could not come to grips with what he had become. When his mission was complete, he abandoned Overwatch and wandered the world in search of meaning. He drifted for many years before crossing paths with the omnic monk Zenyatta. Though Genji initially rejected Zenyatta's wisdom, the benevolent omnic would not be deterred. In time, Zenyatta became his mentor, and under the monk's tutelage, Genji reconciled his dual existence as both man and machine. He learned to accept that although he had a cyborg body, his human soul was intact, and he came to see his new form as a gift and a unique strength.
Now, for the first time in his life, Genji is free. Even he cannot say where his path will ultimately lead.

Tank Role Roadhog Gameplay in the brand new Overwatch Closed Beta. Still a noob at the game and learning as I go but so far it's been very fun and entertaining. Overwatch will feature squad-based combat with two opposing teams of six players each. Players choose one of several hero characters, each with their own unique abilities and role classes. The four character roles include: offense-oriented characters with high speed and attack but low defense, defense-oriented characters meant to form choke points for enemies, support characters that provide buffs and debuffs for their allies and enemies respectively, such as healing or speed alterations, and tank characters that have a large amount of armor and hit points to withstand enemy attacks. Players can switch between characters in-game following deaths, which is encouraged by the game's overall design. The game's maps are inspired by real-world locations; the first three maps unveiled ("King's Row", "Hanamura", "Temple of Anubis") are inspired by London, Japan, and the ruins of Ancient Egypt.
Arena Mode has been announced at BlizzCon 2015 and while we do not have a definitive launch date for this new mode in Heroes of the Storm, we do know most of the details regarding how The Arena will play-out There are a few bullet-points : The arena is random from the entire hero pool regardless if you own a hero or not. You will get a choice from 3 heroes all from a single class The arena is best two out of three with each Battleground being slightly different. The two mediums presented where Garden Arena and Temple Arena, each with 3 variants. All players start at lvl 10, acquire no XP and can only pick the Heroic Ability. There is a chance of 10x mode which will assign the same HotS hero to both teams | all players. Some heroes where removed from 10x mode so the matches don't drag-out to long or they just don't work with the Arena Concept. A team can not have more then 2 warriors and more then 2 supports.
Thew new Towers of Doom Battleground for Heroes of the Storm has been announced at BlizzCon 2015 and we also got to see a very interesting panel dedicated to maps. It would appear that the original concept for this specific map featured a core-less design, unfortunately that ended-up not working out
So we now know what and how much will take to get into Overwatch
The contents of the collector's edition is still unknown but we have clear info on the Standard edition (40$) and the Origins Edition (60$) Origins Edition include 5 skins : Blackwatch Reyes, Strike-Commander Morrison, Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, Slipstream Tracer. D.VA was just announced at Blizzcon 2015 as a new Hero coming to Overwatch. We have some gameplay footage and her abilities. Still no beta keys for this upcoming Hero Shooter but the launch date should be around the 21st of June. Other new heroes announced are Genji and Mei. FUSION CANNONS D.Va's mech is equipped with twin short-range rotating cannons. They lay down continuous, high-damage fire without needing to reload, but slow D.Va’s movement while they’re active.
BOOSTERS D.Va’s mech launches into the air, her momentum carrying her forward. She can turn and change directions or barrel through her enemies, knocking them back.
DEFENSE MATRIX D.Va can activate this forward-facing targeting array to shoot incoming projectiles out of the air.
SELF-DESTRUCT ULTIMATE ABILITY D.Va ejects from her mech and sets its reactor to explode, dealing massive damage to nearby opponents.
LIGHT GUN While outside of her mech, D.Va can continue the fight with a mid-range automatic blaster.
CALL MECH ULTIMATE ABILITY If her armored battle suit is destroyed, D.Va can call down a fresh mech and return to the fray.

Twenty years ago, South Korea was attacked by a colossal omnic monstrosity that rose from the depths of the East China Sea. The massive, lumbering construct caused catastrophic damage to coastal cities before it was driven back beneath the waves. In response, the South Korean government developed a mechanized armored drone unit, called MEKA, to protect urban environments in future engagements with the omnic threat.
The government's fears proved to be well founded, as a disturbing pattern of attacks emerged. Every few years, the monstrosity would rise from the sea to assault South Korea and its neighbors. The omnic learned from these encounters, often reconfiguring itself in a different form and appearing with new weapons and capabilities. Each incident ended in a stalemate, with the monstrosity defeated but not destroyed.
As the omnic continued to adapt, it eventually disrupted MEKA's drone-control networks, forcing the military to place pilots in the mechs. Scrambling to find suitable candidates, the government turned to the country's professional gamers, who possessed the necessary reflexes and instincts to operate the mechs' advanced weapons systems. Top stars were drafted, including reigning world champion Hana Song, also known as "D.Va." Famous for her elite skills, D.Va was a fierce competitor who played to win at all costs, and she had a well-earned reputation for showing no mercy to her opponents.
Seeing her new mission as a game, D.Va fearlessly charges into battle alongside the rest of her MEKA unit, ready to spring to her nation's defense at a moment's notice. Recently, she has begun to stream combat operations to her adoring fans, and her growing following has turned her into a global icon.
