Spectra Vandal Build 2019 (Guide) - Obscure No Longer (Warframe Gameplay)

The Spectra was never really a sought-after weapon but with the introduction of the Vandal variant, we see a radical change in performance as the weapon packs a much greater wallop! We're looking at increased damage, critical chance and status chance, magazine size, max ammo capacity, and faster reload speed.

You can build the Spectra Vandal in a number of different ways. You can go for a standard elemental approach or you can take advantage of the weapon's high slash damage and of the fact that it only has two elements by default which means triggering slash will be less difficult.
You can also make use out of the Sequence Burn augment for a huge range increase of twenty meters plus the sequence syndicate effect.

Everything considered the Spectra Vandal is a huge improvement over the original and let's not forget that it comes with a Riven disposition of five out five. This one is an easy recommendation, Enjoy!

Drakgoon Build 2019 (Guide) - New Player Tutorial (Warframe Gameplay)

Today we will be diving deeper into the Drakgoon, a mastery rank five shotgun. I will be highlighting a lot of the modding principles in Warframe as this is meant to be a guide for new-er players.

The weapon shoots bouncy balls that will travel for two seconds before disappearing and they also lose some speed on a ricochet. Fully charging a shot will grant additional damage, status chance, and accuracy.
The Drakgoon sports a base status chance of twenty-three percent so it can reach the magical one hundred through the use of the four sixty-sixty mods and Motus Setup or a Riven mod. Sadly Nano-Applicator does not provide enough. The Critical chance of the weapon is very low at seven point five percent so if we want the weapon to crit we will have to rely on bonus additive effects such as Arcane Avenger, Kavat buff, Harrow's buff, etc.

After all the tests and possible builds, the Drakgoon will be the most efficient with a status setup. Problem is the requirement of a Riven Mod with at least ninety-five percent status chance but ideally one hundred and fifty-five so we can bypass not only Motus Setup but one of the sixty-sixty mods and have better control over our proc priority.

The Drakgoon may not be one of the most powerful shotguns in the game but with the right build and buffs, it can get to crazy levels of damage. If you're just-starting-out in Warframe I would save my resources for other weapons and return to this one when you have everything you need to build it right. There are plenty of other more powerful shotguns in the game that don't require such niche setups but if you love the weapon there are ways to get it to perform.

Prisma Angstrum Build 2019 (Guide) - Baro's HandZooka (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the void trader's inventory, we find a lot of goodies such as some of the best weapons in Warframe but on the other side of the popularity spectrum we see the Prisma Angstrum. Just because a weapon is not very popular doesn't mean it cant pack a punch and this secondary weapon can send enemies flying but it does have a series of disadvantages as well.

We're looking at a high critical multi of two point two but a low base critical chance of only eighteen percent. The status chance is a bit in the air on this one as it will be determined by how many rockets you chose to fire as in, how much you decide to charge the weapon.
One of the drawbacks of the weapon is the accuracy of the rockets especially in combination with multishot and a full charge. This makes going for the feet mandatory as going for head-shots can result in most of the missiles completely missing the target.

I must admit that I did enjoy my time with the weapon as blowing enemies-up with these mini-missiles can be subjective good fun but the usability quirks keep it from being an overall good experience. While the Prisma Angstrum can deal a serious amount of damage it's definitely not among the top secondary weapons and in my honest opinion, you can skip this one entirely.

Kulstar Build 2019 (Guide) - The Pocket Rocket Launcher (Warframe Gameplay)

The Kulstar is a mastery rank five secondary weapon which fires rockets that detonate upon impact and spawn three little bombs that have no targeting mechanism.
The weapon features a low-ish base critical chance of seventeen percent but with a great critical multiplier of two point three. Status chance is nineteen percent and the weapon features default blast and impact damage.
I have tried several ways to build the Kulstar and the performance was average at best, especially if you take into accounts the several drawbacks that the weapon has but if you factor-in the Riven Disposition of four out of five than you can make this one into a little monster.

This is a weapon for the Tenno that just wants to have a bit of fun with a rocket launcher and is not put-off by the weapons limitations and pitfalls. While it may not be among the top secondary weapons in the game it can certainly offer a bit of entertainment, give it a go.

Komorex Build 2019 (Guide) - The Ex-Wife (Warframe Gameplay)

The Komorex is an amalgam Sniper Rifle, a mix between Corpus and Sentient tech that you can research in your Clan's Energy Lab.
The weapon features a high status chance and decent IPS layout but a low base critical chance of only sixteen percent. You can use two sniper scopes that will provide different bonuses. The first scope level provides stability and two meters of punch-through.The second zoom level ads a three point five-meter area of effect that has a chance to proc viral and does a limited amount of damage. In the second zoom level, your fire-rate is greatly reduced but you do get an additional one hundred percent damage.

The Komorex also features a built-in ammo mutation but has a very long reload time at three seconds.

In terms of how to build the sniper rifle, you have a few options. You can take advantage of the weapons high slash damage and make it into a hybrid slasher through Hunter Munitions plus the weapon's status chance so that way you can double-dip into slash proc sources. A simpler approach would be just to build an elemental combo but considering the area of effect provides a viral proc you can just build gas or corrosive through the sixty sixty mods and basically get the best of both builds.

I am not a fan of this weapon as it lacks heavily in the usability department and the use-case scenario is rather niche just like with most of the unexciting Amalgam additions to the game. That said, the Komorex can pack one serious punch as raw power is not an issue but I simply can't recommend something I don't enjoy using. Subjective Pass.

Warframe (Guide) - Jupiter Spy Mission Amalthea (Ivara Gameplay)

With the Gas City Rework, we also got a new puzzle to solve on the Amalthea Spy mission. It can be completed with whatever frame you want but using a cloak frame will make things easier and if you want to completely trivialize the mission go for Ivara with the Infiltrate Augment.

Warframe is a free-to-play cooperative third-person shooter video game developed and published by Digital Extremes. Originally released for PC Microsoft Windows in March 2013, it was later ported to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
