Nagantaka Build 2018 (Guide) - Blood Queen's Crossbow (Warframe Gameplay)

Nagantaka Build 2018 (Guide) - Blood Queen's Crossbow (Warframe Gameplay)
When I first saw that Garuda will come with a Crossbow, The Nagantaka I was super excited as I love bows and x-bows!
After a fair bit of testing it quickly became obvious that this weapon wants to slash sporting a huge amount of slash and very high base status chance of thirty nine percent. The rest was mostly obvious with the sixty-sixty mods forming viral damage and further increasing that status chance so we get more slashes on our targets.
The results is a weapon that hits and slashes like a truck but lacks in the usability department. The projectile travel time is a bit lower then I would have liked it to be and there is also a slight arching to deal with as-well.

Most of the times I found myself using the burst fire which felt a lot more satisfying and you also get the benefit of a faster reload as-well.
All in all considered the Nagantaka is an outstanding slasher fully capable of destroying targets through bleeds but it asks a bit of the player as-well. Aiming aside, you will have to juggle between Semi and Burst fire modes depending on the situation but to me that constant shift between the two is a lot of fun and can be very rewarding. Recommend.

Akvasto Prime (Build) - The Double Six Shooters (Warframe Gameplay)

Akvasto Prime (Build) - The Double Six Shooters (Warframe Gameplay)
Warframe fans have been asking for the Akvasto Prime for a while not but I'm not sure if this is exactly what they wished for. The Akvasto Prime is a minor iteration on the Vasto Prime and I would call it a side-grade at best rather than an upgrade.
The weapon sports the same critical chance, critical multiplier, status chance and exact same damage values and layout so the build will be mostly similar as with the Vasto Prime with one major exception, Recoil. Not only did the magazine size increase to double but it feels like the recoil is doubled as-well making that increased fire rate hardly usable unless we sacrifice a mod slot for Steady Hands which will make the weapon a lot more manageable.

To make a long story short, the Akvasto Prime is a side-grade from the Vasto Prime with a larger magazine, better fire rate but also increased recoil and reload time. Builds will be the same, stat priority will be the same and overall it's mostly the same weapon. A subjective added benefit would be the cool factor of dual wielding guns, whatever floats your boat.

Battacor Build 2018 (Guide) - Sentient Power Harvested (Warfame Gameplay)

Battacor Build 2018 (Guide) - Sentient Power Harvested (Warfame Gameplay)
With Fortuna we get access to a batch of new weapons, among them The Battacor, a mastery rank ten primary weapon with a unique automatic burst trigger.
The weapon features very high critical chance for both auto-burst and charge-shot fire modes and high base critical multipliers. The status chance is decent for primary mode at eighteen percent but very low for charge shot at eight percent. The charge shot deals a truck worth of damage and all of it being pure radiation, while the primary fire has its damage split between magnetic and puncture damage.

The Battacor performed very well with both an elemental build and a critical slash build based on Hunter Munitions but overall I feel the slash build works a bit better.
While the secondary fire mode looks like a beam weapon it functions like any other projectile or hit-scan weapon so we can get multiple projectiles fired through the use of multishot but negative accuracy effects such as Heavy Caliber have a rather large impact on the usability of the weapon.
The biggest impact outside of critical chance / damage was fire rate with Vile Acceleration or Speed Trigger, which will allow us to get faster kills and thus more charge shots.

The two major negatives would be the low base fire rate and it being a projectile based weapon which can make it a bit more difficult to land precise shots but the projectile travel speed is not bad at all.

Overall the Battacor is a welcomed addition to the weapon roster sporting a new trigger, interesting charge mechanic and a truck worth of damage. Highly Recommend.

Warframe (Guide) - Simulacrum Damage on Paused AI Targets (Mechanics Explained & Tested)

Many times I was told "you are getting a stealth damage multiplier on paused AI targets with ranged attacks" and many times I explained that this is no longer the case for ranged attacks. Melee attacks however will still get a multiplier applied versus paused AI targets. Here is the full info for further clarification : https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Stealth

Sonicor Build 2018 (Guide) - New Player Modding Tutorial (Warframe Gameplay)

Sonicor Build 2018 (Guide) - New Player Modding Tutorial (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the weapons who are very friendly towards new players we find the Sonicor and I thought this would be another great opportunity to do a basic weapon modding guide while tackling the Sonicor.
Weapon mechanics are covered but a larger emphasis is put on general weapon modding, status chance, status procs, resistances, vulnerabilities, the works.
As for the Sonicor itself it's an outstanding crowd control secondary weapon that will come in very useful in may situations but falls off when it comes to the damage department. While the weapon is capable of taking out easier targets such as the Corpus or Infested, it struggles with the heavily armored targets of the Grineer faction.

The Sonicor is a weapon that I highly recommend to any player starting-out in Warframe and even latter in the game the crowd control aspects don't lose their value.
