Secura Penta Build 2018 (Guide) - Fire in the Hole (Warframe Gameplay)

I have not played with a lot of grenade launchers in Warframe simply because they are few and far between, but the Secura Penta caught my attention with its unique Tether Grenades mod.

I tried everything I could think of to get the weapon to an "endgame" state and the only thing that kinda did the trick is guaranteeing its critical chance through the use of Point Strike in combination with a riven or Argon Scope. Hunter Munitions and Viral damage offered poor results because of the low amount of hits the weapon can apply and how slow the process is overall. Status base build fell flat for mostly the reason and the only somewhat impressive approach was through the biggest amount of raw damage in combination with critical chance and critical damage.
The star of the show without a doubt is the Penta only mod called Tether Grenades which makes the weapon a lot more reliable and a lot more fun to use. If you plan on playing with the weapon I would highly suggest you give this mod a try.

Overall the Secura Penta is not a bad weapon and it can pack a serious wallop but it's being kept on a tight leash by the five maximum active grenade cap. There is also something to be said about the entertainment value, who doesn't like to send enemies flying ? Just keep in mind that sometimes you will also send yourself flying.

Burston Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - I Burst Therefore I Win (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the weapons that get overlooked we find the Burston Prime, one of the more "older" Prime weapons.

The rifle features a high status chance of thirty five percent with a critical chance of only eighteen percent and a critical multiplier of one point eight times. The weapon ca be build either for slash procs or straight for elemental combos such as corrosive. From my testing a corrosive build worked the best but your mileage may vary depending on your targets so it's important to adapt elemental depending on circumstance.

We also have the possibility to use Gilded Truth which is a Arbiters of Hexis Syndicate mod and will grant use the "Truth" proc. I would have preferred this one to offer multishot instead of fire rate but at least we still get the proc.

While the Burston Prime may not be as flashy or as powerful as new-er assault rifles it can still pack one hell of a punch and it's enjoyable to use as-long as you don't mind the usual caveats of burst weapons.

Pox Build 2018 (Guide) - As Powerful as it is Ugly (Warframe Gameplay)

Some weapons are beautiful but can't really be called "strong" and some weapons are ugly but are very strong, such is the tale of the Pox.

The weapon features a high status chance and excels at removing armor for enemies in only a few seconds. Critical chance is sadly abysmal at only one percent which is what keeps this weapon in check. The travel time and drop-off of the projectile is a bit rough but the damage is pretty high so while it many not everybody's cup of team it is fairly strong.

It's also worth mentioning that the Pox gets a real benefit out of Fulmination which will increase the area of effect of the gas cloud by twenty four percent. Fulmination can be obtained during the Plague Star event.

Overall the Pox is pretty nifty weapon so if you are looking for a secondary that can strip armor in an area of effect then this is a worthy option.

Panthera Build 2018 (Guide) - Sawblades Are No Joke (Warframe Gameplay)

I first seen the Panthera in the hands of an MR 25 player and I thought to myself "WoW! What an awesome weapon!" I asked him about it and was a bit discouraged from building it. Now it's time to do the Panthera Justice!

The weapon has a few drawbacks such the the limited five meter range on the secondary fire and the abysmal fire rate. Thankfully these can be fixed with a couple of mods and it will come down to the player to decide which of the two fire modes he enjoys more.
The primary fire has the advantage of innate punch-through and the secondary fire mode performs like a beam weapon... of sorts.

The ideal build revolves around maximizing slash amounts and values. We can do that through the weapons innate slash value and through my old "friend" Hunter Munitions. In such a build viral damage through the dual stat mods will work very well as it will increase our status chance which in turn will mean more slashes on the target.

Another advantage to the Panthera is the Riven Disposition of five out of five and the low riven prices (currently at least) which means we can get sky-high stat amounts on riven mods.

Overall I see the Panthera as being a strong weapon yet somewhat clunky, clearly not everybody's cup of tea but far from being a weak weapon.

Rubico Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - Standard & Eidolon Hunting Builds

The Rubico Prime improves on the original in almost every single aspect. We get a higher critical chance of thirty eight percent, better reload speed and better fire rate, also a four percent damage increase. Now, that might not sound like a lot but considering the Rubico was already an awesome weapon the buffs make a bit of a difference. Perhaps the most important aspect is that you can get a ninety five percent critical chance just with point strike alone.

I have tested the weapon in various situations since its release but the most important one of all would be Eidolon Hunts since this is currently the primary use for Sniper Rifles. The Rubico Prime performs admirably well and is fully capable of tearing through an Eidolon in matter of seconds (give the appropriate setup) so it gets my seal of approval. It would have been hard for me not to like the weapon considering how much I enjoyed the original.

The Rubico Prime also performs very well in ordinary day to day mission, able to one or two shot high level enemies. The only issue is that it's a sniper so it will be a slow clear in comparison to other more popular AoE weapons.

Just like the Standard version before it, The Rubico Prime is fantastic primary weapon and I highly recommend it. The only downside I see is the high price on riven mods but then again we can't have our cake and eat it to.

Argonak Build 2018 (Guide) - The Laser Sight Slasher (Warframe Gameplay)

Going into the Argonak I was not expecting much but the weapon can prove competitive when built correctly. Sadly for more a corrosive based build doesn't work as-well as I would have hoped and a critical build through Hunter Munitions outdoes it.

The gimmick of the weapon is its laser sight that will outline enemies in the weapon's energy color, making them a lot more visible. This can be very useful during dense fog missions or during nighttime on Cetus.

With all of this and the Argonak is still not a very popular weapon yet still has a riven disposition of three out of five. There are many awesome assault rifles in the game that compete with the Argonak which leads to this weapon being a bit overlooked. It's not a weak weapon by any stretch but it's not particularly powerful either.

Lex Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - The Desert Eagle (Warframe)

Getting your first Prime Weapon can be a very special experience. I remember getting the Lex Prime together with the Braton Prime and thinking ... "OH MY GOD, I have such an amazing setup now! I'm gonna be able to tear through everything!" ... and while I wasn't able to tear through everything, the Lex Prime did not disappoint.

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 8 Secondary Weapon - The Lex Prime. I'm gonna be covering a cheap
build, something affordable that anybody can build, but of course we also have a suited up setup with more expensive mods. That being said though, please keep in mind that my builds and guides follow a "New Player Friendly" approach, simply because there's a lot of info here, and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions, and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game and already know this stuff, you can skip ahead, or have a bit of patience.

And with that out of the way, let's jump into the Lex Prime. Let's begin by having a look at how the weapon handles without any mods equipped, and for that I'm simply gonna be taking a couple of free shots. The Lex Prime is a pinpoint-accurate weapon. A lot of players prefer it simply because of this high accuracy, and it packs one hell of a punch as well, but as you can see (vid), the recoil is quite large on this one, so you gotta wait for it to stabilize, in order to hit the exact same point (of course this is with mod not included). Other than that you have eight shots in a clip, and you also get about two seconds worth of reload, and that's pretty much it.

Let's jump into stats, to see precisely what we're dealing with.
Mod capacity is gonna be 60 out of 60. If your Prime Lex has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst.(check the video for more info). My weapon has been formatted a total of four times, but for the weapon build I'm recommending you guys, 3 forma is more than sufficient. The accuracy of the Lex Prime is 16.0. Now, for a pistol this is pretty standard, however the Lex Prime once again is known for its fabled accuracy. Back then however, there wasn't an Arca Scisco, so if you're interested in a super accurate secondary weapon, check out the Arca Scisco. (build can be found here: https://leyzargamingviews.blogspot.com/2018/08/arca-scisco-build-2018-guide-warframe.html)

Please check the link below to watch the full build / guide for the Lex Prime.

Conclusion:
The weapon doesn't offer a lot of build diversity, and the build its pretty straight forward. The only real option we have is if we go for the ninety mods, or the dual stat mods, and of course the option slot, usually I gravitate towards Steady Hands just to make the weapon a bit more usable.
The Lex Prime packs one serious punch, but it does suffer from usability issues. High recoil, small magazine size, lengthy reload time and a riven disposition of only one out of five.

Objectively speaking, the weapon is good, and I would recommend it for players around mastery rank eight, but higher up the ladder you will find more powerful secondary weapons.
