Phage Build 2018 - The Beam Shotgun (Warframe Guide)

Beam weapons are some of the strongest option you can currently go for, and the Phage is no exception to that rule. Throughout this build guide we will explore all the possible viable builds that the weapon has, including a one hundred percent status chance build and a bleed build which makes use of Hunter Munitions as-well as Arcane Avenger. While testing it soon became apparent the going for full status chance will yield betters results then forcing the weapon into critical chance and critical damage.

Hello and welcome back, as always, my name is Leyzar and today we will be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 11 primary weapon - The Phage.

As per the usual, we will be starting by checking how the Phage handles without any mods equipped, and a short analysis of the stats.

First of all, Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Phage only has 30 out of 30, then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst. The Orokin Catalyst can be found from alerts, invasions or, if you're lucky, from the daily sortie. If you don't have access to the daily sortie just yet, progress further through the story and you will.

Next, my weapon has been format a total of six times, but this was done for the purpose of testing. By default the Phage comes with a "-" or Naramon Symbol, which I removed and made into a V. Don't ask why ... you shouldn't really remove it, I simply had a whole bunch of different Rivens to test. The rest of the stats analysis, accuracy, crit chance, fire rate and other useful info you can find in the video below.

Continuing with our excerpt, let's take a look at the mods:

Damage is mandatory, and we're gonna go with Point Blank - 90% extra damage. If you have Prime versions, then by all means, go for Prime versions. There's another mod that I tend to call mandatory but not 100 % - Vicious Spread - again 90 % extra damage, just like Point Blank, at the cost of 60% spread, and you saw on practice how that one works.

Next, we're gonna go into Multi Shot. How the Multi Shot effects work on Beam Weapons anyway? As you saw here I added Hell's Chamber, with 120 % Multi Shot. Though my status chance did not go up, even though I know I am firing multiple beams out of the weapon. In essence, Multi Shot effects for beam weapons increase the weapon's damage, however they apply to the modded weapon damage value, not of the base weapon damage value ... so basically this applies after Point Blank and Vicious Spread, so keep that one in mind.

To find out more about the recommended mods, the base build, Blaze, Bleed build, Riven setup and other useful information please check the video down below: (including the testing)

Conclusion:As always the option is yours but I would recommend looking into a Status Chance Riven so you can play with elemental damage better and get rid of any unwanted combos such as Blast.
All and all the Phage is an atypical beam weapon with some interesting mechanics that has some build diversity and in my opinion totally worth the build (for the novelty if not anything else)

Twin Kohmak Build 2018 (Guide) - The Wild Boars (Warframe Gameplay)

In general I prefer precise weapons, but there is something to be said about the destructive power of the Twin Kohmak. It lacks in accuracy and the ammunition consumption is outrageous, but with the right riven mod the weapon comes to live annihilating everything that stands before it (and sometimes to the side of it).

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always, my name is Leyzar and today were gonna be diving deeper into this mastery rank 10 Secondary Weapon, the Twin Kohmak. As per usual, we're gonna be covering a standard build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course, we also have the classic endgame set up with a Riven. That being said, though, please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more New Player Friendly approach, simply because there's a lot of info here, and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions, and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game, and already know most of the stuff then please bear with me. Now, with that out of the way, let's jump into the Twin Kohmak Build.

We will begin by checking out how the Twin Kohmak handles without any mods equipped, and a short stats analysis. Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Twin Kohmak only has 30 out of 30  then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst. (In the video below you can find out how to obtain and how to use Orokin Catalyst).

My weapon has been format a total of six times, but this was done mainly for the purpose of testing. For the weapon builds I'm recommending you guys ... 2-3 forma should do it. I'm gonna skip the stats analysis, as it has been covered extensively in the video down below.

Let's start slapping on some mods, starting with the mandatory mods for the Twin Kohmak. Hornet Strike, of course, 220 percent extra damage. Next we're going to go into Multi Shot with Barrel Diffusion - 120% multi shot, and Lethal Torrent - 60% fire rate and 60% multi shot. The fire rate really comes in useful, because you get to go to the maximum spool of effect - the maximum fire rate - a whole lot faster. It can get a bit annoying when you start shooting, just keep in mind that the Twin Kohmak does fire more pellets at full fire rate, so the initial pellets will have (the initial pellet it fires only one bullet first time) will have a very good status chance.

Next we could go into Crit Chance and Crit Damage or we can go into full Status effects. The problem is ... this is still a shotgun, and all the status chance will get divided among the pallets, unless we get a 100% status chance, before Multi Shot effects. Multi Shot effects on pellet based weapons can trick you when it comes to status chance.

As you can see in the video down below, here my status chance is 51.9, but this one will get divided among the pellets ... and i will give you a clear example.

Please watch the full Build / Guide video for Twin Kohmak by clicking the link below:

In Conclusion:
The general build is rather straight forward and it will result in a decent secondary weapon, especially if you enjoy dual shotguns, but in order to get the most out of it you will need a specific riven mod which is something I don't particularly like.

Everything considered, if you can get a 95% plus status chance riven then absolutely go for the Twin Kohmak, if not then it may be worth exploring other secondary options.

Staticor Build 2018 - Warframe Guide (Gameplay)

What I want to see from Warframe is more space weapons like the Staticor. Essentially this is a throwing weapon but without the weird animations and you can also charge-up shots to quadruple the damage. Each projectiles explodes on contact with a surface or an enemy, or if it runs out of travel time. The build is rather straight forward but I would lean into Fire Rate mods such as Lethal Torrent and Gunslinger so you can get more efficient charged shots out.

Hey guys, hello and welcome back! As always, my name is Leyzar and today we're going to be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 10 Secondary Weapon, the Staticor. As per the usual, I'm gonna have a cheap build, something affordable that anybody can build, then we're gonna switch to a suit-up setup, and wrap it all up with warframe buffs. Though please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually take a more New Player Friendly approach, simply because there's a lot of info here, and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions, and how it should be built. So if you're a veteran of the game and already know most the stuff, then please bear with me. And with that out of the way, let's jump into the Staticor Build.

Let's begin by checking out how the weapon handles without any mods equipped, and for that I'm gonna need a couple of guinea pigs. First of all ... this one works kind of like a throwing weapon, though - unlike the Despair for example - the overhand throw and the underhand throw are exactly identical, and it will hit the same spot. But this still is a projectile based weapon, so you will have travel time. No real fall-off to the projectiles, but there is quite a fair bit of travel time, so you can simply fire like so at targets, if you so desire, you will see that the front impact will be generating an explosion. Keep in mind that the projectile has two sources of damage: first the impact and then the explosion. Ideally, you want to get both of them, but of course, if you have trouble aiming and all whatnot and... again, keeping in mind that it does have a lengthy travel time to them, you can hit the feet if you so desire.

Please check the link below to see the entire build / guide video for Staticor.

Conclusion:The Staticor is an outstanding weapon and I would recommend it to just about anyone. The only downside is the low riven disposition of one out of five, but you can't have'em all.

Tenora Build 2018 (Guide) - The Main Event (Warframe)

When it comes to machine gun style of weapons we do have a few options and the Tenora is at the top of the list. Alongside its mini-gun fire mode it also has a secondary that will charge ten bullets and release them after zero point eight seconds for a massive burst of damage. The charged shot also features higher critical chance and critical damage at the cost of status chance.

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always, my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 10 Primary Weapon - Octavia's signature weapon - The Tenora.

I'm gonna be covering a cheap build, something affordable that anybody can build, but of course we're also gonna have the classic endgame setup for a Riven. Though please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more "New Player Friendly" approach, so if you're a veteran of the game and already know most of the stuff then please bear with me. And with that out of the way, let's jump into the Tenora.

Let's begin by checking out how the weapon handles without any mods equipped. For that I'm simply gonna be taking a couple of free shots. You'll see (in the video) that the Tenora is a rifle which acts more like a mini-gun. At the start of firing you'll see that the accuracy is basically all over the place, but the more you fire, you will get additional fire rate and accuracy. After about 16 shots the Tenora  is a pinpoint weapon, and you are no longer spraying all over the place. You also have an Out-fire which kind of works like this: once pressed, it will charge up - you cannot hold the shot in - and it will release a pinpoint shot which has more Crit Chance, and more Crit Damage than the normal fire, and it also consumes 10 ammo. So with a full clip of 150 ... you basically got 15 shots for all fire, and that is pretty much it.

Let's jump into the stats to see precisely what we're dealing with. First of all, Mod Capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Tenora only has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst. (Check the video below to find out how to obtain one).

My Tenora has been format a total of 7 times, but this was done mainly for the purpose of testing,  and because I have a Riven, for the weapon builds I'm recommending you guys ... 4-5 forma should do it.

Accuracy is 12.5, but this accuracy, both on the Primary and Secondary Fire, is without the full spool up. Keep in mind that while the accuracy is 12.5, on the charge shot it doesn't really reflect the pinpoint accuracy of this weapon, so keep that one in mind.
Next, Critical Chance for the auto fire is 28% with a multiplier of 2.0, which is definitely decent. The critical chance is pretty good, and the multiplier is nice as well. Fire rate: 11.67. Just keep in mind that this refers at fool spool-up or magazine of 150, and reload of 2.5. Very little downtime for the Tenora, as long as you don't increase the fire rate too heavily, of course.

Please check the link below to watch the entire Tenora Build / Guide video (elemental build, slash build, riven setup and other useful info)

Conclusion:
Sometimes I find it hard to chose one weapon over another, simply because we have a lot of similar weapons in Warframe, but the Tenora is one weapon I'm happy I invested in, and I highly recommend it. You have two options when it comes to builds, you can either go for an elemental build that will focus around a targets vulnerabilities, or you can go for a slash build through Hunter Munitions. Objectively speaking the HM build is a bit stronger, but I prefer elemental builds in general. As always, the choice is yours.

Knell Build 2018 (Guide) - From Zero to Hero (Warframe)

Just by looking at the stats of the Knell you don't see much of anything. The true power of this weapon lies in its special buff that can stack-up three times and transforms the weapon into an absolute power-house. While the build is rather basic, the weapon does require a lot of the player, and consistent head-shots will be necessary to get the most of the Knell.
As soon as the three stacks are up, the weapon goes Godlike and I would recommend you try some fire-rate and pepper your targets in order to make it easier to get constant buff refreshes.

Hey guys, hello and welcome back! As always, my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Ranked 10 secondary weapon - The Knell.

I'm gonna be covering a cheap build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course we also have the classic "Endgame" setup with  a Riven. That being said, though please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more new player friendly approach, simply because I want anybody watching this to understand how the weapon functions and how it should be built, so, if you're a veteran of the game and already know most of the stuff, then please bear with me.

Now, with that out of the way, let's jump into the Knell. As per the usual, we begin by checking how the weapon handles without any mods equipped and for that I'm gonna need a couple of targets. You will see that the Knell only has one shot in a clip, and it also kind of has like a sniper-esque scope, even though you don't have a controllable zoom. Now, normally again, one shot in a clip then you have to reload and the total ammo of the Knell is only ten or twelve, so that seems very little, but upon head-shot you will be receiving a buff called Death Knell, you'll also see that the graphics on the scope will change. When you get at least one stack of this buff, you will receive unlimited ammo and no reload. That's all, so basically you can keep on firing forever and ever, as long as you refresh the buff. The buff called Death Knell can stack up a total of three times, each time you'll be getting 20% status chance and 0.5 crit multiplier, that is critical damage. That being said please keep in mind that this benefit is an additive after bonus, and I'll explain more on that a bit later, but for now let's jump in the stats to see precisely what we're dealing with.

First let's remove all the buffs from Harrow, just to make sure we're not cheating with any buffs.

Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Knell only has 30 out of 30, then jump into actions and
install an Orokin Catalyst (check the build video to find out how to do it)

My weapon has been format a total of seven times, but this was done for the purpose of testing. For the weapon builds I'm recommending you guys ... for - five forma should do it.
It is a Forma Heavy Weapon, because the Knell by default doesn't come with any polarity at all. Accuracy is 42 - now this is absolutely Godlike for a pistol. Keep in mind that the fable, the Lex Prime has only 16, this is sniper level of accuracy - absolutely phenomenal - so it will reward those high skill players that can actually land head-shots.

Critical chance is 20% and Crit Multi is 1.5. Now I would call this one decent towards weak, but keep in mind that Death Knell buff you will be getting on head-shots. It will give you 0.5 Crit Multiplier per stack, and you can stack it up a total of 3 times. Each stack will last for two seconds, so for example if you stack it up all the way to 3 stacks, you're gonna be getting a Crit multiplier of 3.0, two stacks 2.5, one stack 2.0, this is an additive After Bonus, so keep that one in mind

Braton Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - Old Faithful (Warframe Gameplay)

There are many Assaults Rifles in Warframe, some more popular then others.

The Braton Prime is among the "old timers" and many players simply glance over it and chuck-it up as MR fodder. That would be a mistake, The Braton Prime may not be the best weapon in the game but it's certainly not weak.

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always, my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank eight Primary Weapon - The Braton Prime. I'm gonna be covering a cheap build, something affordable that anybody can get into, but of course we also have the "Endgame setup" with a Riven.

Please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more "New player friendly" approach, simply because there's a lot of info here and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game and already know most of this stuff, then please bear with me. And with that out of the way let's jump into the Braton Prime.

Let's begin by checking out hot weapon handles without any mods equipped, and for that I'm simply gonna be taking a couple of free shots, as you can see (in the video) The Braton is an automatic rifle, or Sub-machine gun, or whatever ... it doesn't really matter. The accuracy isn't really all that hot, but it's not bad either. This is roughly 30 meters away from the target and I'm gonna unload 75 bullets - that's a full clip for the Braton - so you can see the spread. I think that should do it ... 60 bullets is
enough, so as you can see, the accuracy isn't outstanding but it's not terrible either, especially since you can fire a little bit ... wait for the weapon to kind of calm down ... The recoil itself is not really all that bad. From my point of view, is totally manageable and I love how the weapon sounds.

Let's jump into stats to see precisely what we're dealing with: First of all we're gonna talk about Mod  capacity - 60 out of 60 - now if your Braton only has 30 out of 30, then jump into actions and plug in an Orokin Catalyst.

Please check the link below to learn how to obtain an Orokin Catalyst, and watch the entire Build / guide for Braton Prime

Braton Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - Old Faithful (Warframe Gameplay)

Conclusion:
With the correct build the weapon can make quick work of even high level enemies. While there is some build diversity to the Braton, the build that shined the most was a viral / Hunter Munitions setup. Using this approach the weapon ca have two sources of applying slash status effects to targets. The Critical Chance on the weapon is fairly low so in order to get some value out of Hunter Munitions we need to use Arcane Avenger, which is a bit expensive but more then worth the investment. Overall I would call The Braton Prime a solid and reliable weapon and recommend it to newer players as it feels very "classic" and it's no slouch in damage either.
