Eidolon Hunting With Fishing Spears - The Real Big Fish

Hey guys, hello and welcome back.  

As always, my name is Leyzar and today we have something a little different for you guys. We had this crazy idea of hunting Eidolons using fishing Spears and using the fishing Spears on the joints - yes we were terribly bored - in any case, we tested a whole bunch of things: Rhino Roars, Chroma buffs, Amber buffs... pretty much everything we could to get some good radiation damage ... out of a Fishing Spear.


The problem with a Fishing Spear is the fact that it inherently, basically ... does almost no damage  ... almost. But effects that will add a flat amount of damage, for example Volt's passive, will work absolutely beautifully, and also Smite Infusion from Oberon actually gave a significant DPS increase. We tried all sorts of augments, Warframes, and this is pretty much the best that we came up with. 

And while we were not entirely successful, we did prove that it could be done. I hope you guys enjoy and I'll see you next time.

Mastery Rank 19 Test (Guide) - Quick & Painless With A Gunblade

Hey guys, hello and welcome back.

As always, my name is Leyzar and today I'm gonna show you the quick and painless way to Mastery Rank 19. This one gave me a fair bit of trouble, but it is very easy, as long as you get a Gunblade.


You can use the Redeemer or the Sarpa, it doesn't really matter, and as you can see ... mine is fresh off the foundry - level 1. I have Pressure Point, Spoiled Strike, Auger Strike and High Noon for a little bit of extra mod capacity, and this should be enough to get you through the test

Quartakk Build 2018 (Guide) - The Underrated One

If you're talking about Rifles then everybody heard of the Soma PrimeTiberon Prime, Sybaris anyone? 


But what about the Quartakk? Is that any good? Most of the time the response I got is .... well .... Treat it like the Kraken ... I wonder ...
Hey guys, hello and welcome back, as always my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 10 Burst Rifle - The  Quartakk. I have a couple of builds laid up for you guys, something cheap and affordable in the form of an elemental build, and I also have two types of Bleed Builds, as well as the old end game setup with a Riven. 



Please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more "New Player Friendly" approach, simply because there's a lot of info here and I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game and already know veteran of the game and already know most of the stuff, then please have a little patience.



With that out of the way, let's jump into the Quartakk Build. First we will check how the weapon handles without any mods equipped.

My weapon has format a total of 6 times, but this was done strictly for the purpose of testing. For the  Weapon Builds i am recommending you guys ... 2 - 3 forma should do it.

By default the Quartakk comes with two "V"'s, or Madurai symbols. Accuracy is 90.9 , as you can see in the video, this is an extremely accurate rifle, and heavy caliber works on it absolutely beautifully. I am comfortable with the resulting accuracy and ... no! 90.9 minus 55% does not mean 24.6! Leave it alone, trust me, it works as intended.

Critical chance is 19%, which is ... well ... almost decent ...let's call it like that. Crit Multiplier is quite good at 2.3x and the fire rate 6.43, but as you saw (in the video) you kind of gotta contend with the recoil, which aligns properly to the fire rate, as long as you don't increase the fire rate. Magazine size is 84, but effectively ... 21 shots, and you do have half a meter (0.5) punch through.

Now I'll be honest here, through playing with the weapon I didn't feel this Punch Through unless I clumped up all my enemies together with a Vauban or a Nidus.

Vasto Prime Build 2018 (Guide) - The Six Shooter (Warframe)

Hello and welcome back, as always, my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into this Mastery Rank 10 secondary weapon - The Vasto Prime. I'm gonna be covering a couple of builds, something cheap and affordable, something anybody can get into, but of course we also have the "Endgame set up" with a Riven.



That being said, though please keep in mind that my builds and guides usually follow a more "New Player Friendly" approach, simply because I want anybody watching to understand how the weapon functions and how it should be built, so if you're a veteran of the game and already know most of this stuff ... then please have a little patience.

With that out of the way, let's jump into the Vasto Prime. We will begin by checking out how the weapon handles without any mods equipped.

The Vasto is a six-shooter, and it's extremely accurate, the same level of accuracy as the fabled Lex Prime, as well as the Pandero. Pinpoint accuracy absolutely bloody beautiful, and check out the recoil at full fire rate, again, without any mods equipped. As you can see in the video below, it's really not that terrible, and if you just fight it a little bit ... you will be able to control it. Of course, alternatively you can just go "shot by shot" and you will see that the bullet lands almost in the exact same spot every single time - and this was roughly 25 - 30 meters - so it's definitely quite nice. You will see that the reload is lightening quick as well, even though you only have six shots in a clip, or in a barrel in the case of the Vasto.

Mod capacity is  60 out of 60, but if your Vasto Prime only has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and install an Orokin Catalyst. (you can find out how to do it by watching the build video below)
My weapon has been format a total of 5 times, but this was done more for the purpose of testing.

The Vasto Prime by default comes with two "V" symbols or Madurai. Accuracy is 16.0 and again the number might lead you a little bit, because it's not sky-high, but this is the exact same accuracy as the Pandero and Lex Prime, and as you saw, it is pinpoint accurate. 

Critical chance is nice at 22%, and so is the multiplier at 2.4 X. Fire rate 5.42 -the magazine of six, and a reload speed of 1. Now, it is a bit annoying reloading all the time, especially if you go for Rapid Fire, but that will open up some nice possibilities for Arcanes later on.

Zarr Build 2018 (Guide) - The Pirate Shotgun Cannon (Warframe)


This has been one of the most challenging weapons to review, mostly because the Zarr has two very different firing modes that need different approaches. After you understand how the weapon functions, the build or builds you can go for, become rather clear. 


Hello guys, my name is Leyzar and today we will be taking a look at The Zarr. As per the usual, we will start by checking how the weapon handles without any mods equipped, and short stats analysis.

Zarr has two fire modes: the main fire mode, and what is known for the most, is the Cannonball Mode. Essentially this is a ship's cannon, and you will see that the Cannonball has travel time as well
as a very heavy drop time, and also if you shoot at really long ranges, you will see that it kind of falls to the left side a little, but you see I'm still catching the side of that wall over there (video)
Now each cannonball that you fire will split off into six little bomblets - and that is what the wiki calls them - keep in mind that the status chance will get divided amongst them; Even though the wiki offers kinda contradictory information, all these little bomblets will have their status chance divided
amongst them, so that's it for the primary fire.

What about the secondary fire? Now this one is a shotgun fire pretty much, as you can see the spread is pretty horrendous, so you're gonna need to be really close to your target in order to hit them. The problem with the secondary fire mode is that it has ten meters worth for range, that's it, ten meters...
But you also get 1.6 meters worth of Punch Through, and of course the status chance rules of pellet based shotguns will apply to the Zarr.



Mod capacity is 60 out of 60, and if your Zarr only has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and plug in the Orokin Catalyst. (check the video for instructions on how to obtain it)

Accuracy for the Cannon Mode is 100. Now the accuracy is pretty good as you saw there, but you have to contain the travel time and a drop-off, so it will take you a little bit of getting used to if you want to get the Head-shot damage of the cannonballs, and yes it is worth it, once again the cannonballs explode upon impact.

One more thing about the bomblets: the wiki says it hones in on enemies, but that doesn't actually happen, they go all over the place and well intents and purposes, unless you are hitting the middle of a group ... they are really unreliable.

Conclusion:
Thou I have tested several approaches to the Zarr, the best build remained a crit chance build catered for the Barrage firing mode. The issue with this build is that it requiters Arcane Avenger with either Argon Scope / Bladed Rounds combo or simply go for Viral Damage with cold and toxin.

Despair Build 2018 (Guide) - The Stalker's Warning (Warframe)

The glorious stalker drops a couple of interesting weapons, one that has always kept my attention was the secondary weapon The Despair

Hello and welcome back! As always, my name is Leyzar and today we are going to be talking about  the Despair, an MR 4 Secondary Throwing Weapon. I have a couple of builds laid out for you, something something cheap and affordable, that anybody can get into, but of course we also have the classic “Endgame” setup for a Riven. That being said though, please keep in mind that i will be covering a lot of the basics, so if you are a veteran of the game, and already know most of the stuff, then please, bear with me.

As per the usual, we will be starting by checking how the Despair handles without any mods equipped, and a short analysis of the stats, so we can see what are the weaknesses and advantages (Video). After that we will continue with the actual build and Riven setup.

Conclusion:
I don't use The Despair so much at this point because there are more powerful secondary weapons, but it still remains my "go to" secondary for spy missions. The build is pretty cut and dry and the base stats kinda tell the tale. In terms of raw power it's a decent weapon but not extraordinary.

Synoid Gammacor Build 2018 (Guide) - The Little Laser that Could

The more I played Warframe, the more I felt like there where not a lot of "spacey" weapons. Where are the Sonic Disruptions , Laser Beams and Plasma Cannons ? One of those space weapons is the Gammacor! Sadly, the base version is a bit weak but the Synoid (which is acquirable from Cephalon Suda) packs a much greater punch and also has built-in Entropy. Thou the mastery rank requirement of the Synoid Gammacor is only seven the weapon is able to melt through high level targets in mere seconds!

Hey guys, hello and welcome back. As always my name is Leyzar and today we're gonna be diving deeper into the Synoid Gammacor, a Mastery Rank 7 Secondary Beam Weapon. Considering the low Mastery lockout on this weapon, I'm gonna be covering a lot of the basics so if you're a veteran of the game, please bear with me.


First of all,  my Mod Capacity is 60 out of 60 and if your Gammacor only has 30 out of 30 then jump into actions and plug in an Orokin Catalyst (Check the video below to find out how to obtain it).
My weapon has been format a total of 6 times, however for the Synoid build I'm recommending you guys ... 4 forma should prove sufficient.

By default a Synoid Gammacor which you get from Cephalon Suda for 100,000 standings can also be bought from the Trade Chat for about 40 plat, something like that. The item is tradable as long as it hasn't been leveled at all. 

Gammacor does come polarized with two slots: 1 Naramon ( a little dash) and one Vazarin which i changed to another Dash - this was necessary in my case. In your case ...  the four forma should be enough. There is one more very important thing to note: because Synoid Gammacor is a Syndicate Weapon, it will have a very special Proc effect that most weapons don't have. If you take a look at the lower right corner (video), you will see a little symbol - that is the Sigil of Cephalon Suda - that symbol would get filled up the more affinity you get. After you get about 2000 Afinity,  the symbol will be full and the Proc will take effect; It's a 25 meter explosion around the player, which will deal 1,000 magnetic damage, it will apply the Magnetic Status effect, it will restore 25% of your base energy and it will also grant you a 25% base energy increase for 30 seconds. 

I thought it was important for you to know that most weapons don't have that, and it can definitely come in very useful.
