Proboscis Cernos Build 2020 (Guide) - It's Cer-no No.5! (Warframe Gameplay)

The Arcana update brought many additions to the game including a new Cernos bow, The Proboscis.
This one is very special from a functionality perspective. Its projectiles will drag enemies in with a nine meters range than they will detonate in a seven meter radius dealing Viral damage. Couple this with the base slash value and you already have a recipe for success. The vines also deal damage and can apply slash status effects.

Not every aspect of the weapon is fantastic however. Critical stats are abysmal. Sitting at seven percent base chance and a one point nine multiplier. We can take advantage of bonus additive after effects such as Arcane Avenger of Kavat Buff but this is definitely not Ideal.
Status chance on the other hand is very high at forty three percent by default and there will be no shortage of Viral applications.
Even thou this is a Cernos it has it's own Riven bearing the Proboscis name and the disposition is set to a meager one out of five. As such riven mods are not worth getting at the current time. If you must have one try to obtain Multishot and Damage with a harmless negative. Status chance is also a good idea.
In testing the weapon performed admirably well with most builds. There is some wiggle room in the Build for the Proboscis Cernos but just like with most other weapon in Warframe, not a lot.

Bubonico Build 2020 (Guide) - The Vicious Plague (Warframe Gameplay)

One of the key features of the Arcana update was the addition of a bunch of new weapons to the game. One of the more interesting examples is the second arm cannon to be added to the game, The Bubonico.
The weapon features two fire modes. In primary the Bubonico is a full-blown automatic shotgun that fire darts as projectiles. The travel speed is good and the damage is solid. Base critical chance is twenty five percent and the multi sits at two point three. Status chance is juts a smidge over nine percent per projectile which again, is pretty good.

The Secondary fire mode features a burst trigger. The weapon will chuck three grenades in rapid succession that detonate upon contact with any surface. This mode features a very high status chance and a three point five multi but lacks base critical chance with only three percent as a base. The secondary fire mode seems to be most efficient when used as a primer for the primary fire mode.
Another key feature is the reload. It acts like a charged weapon so ammo reserves are not a concern and fire rate mods will work well with the Bubonico but effects on reload such as Repeater Clip will not function.

Sporothrix Build 2020 (Guide) - The Oxymoron (Warframe Gameplay)

One of the key aspects that I always appreciated about Warframe is Weapon Diversity. There's something for everybody, even status sniper rifles.
Brought with the Arcana Update, the Sporothirx is the second status sniper to be added to the game after the Komorex. It fires a projectile based attack that explodes one second after the initial impact.
The weapon is based on Viral and Slash status effects and essentially offers the Hunter Munitions experience minus the critical chance and the use of the actual mod.

Base critical chance is set to one percent but the Critical multiplier is sky high at three point zero. This encourages us to use bonus additive critical chance effects such as Arcane Avenger, Harrow or Kavat buff.
Base damage is also high being second only to the Lanka when it comes to Sniper Rifles.
Riven Mods are not a realistic option for the Sporothrix. This being a new weapon the disposition is set to only one out of five which means getting a worthwhile riven for it is highly unlikely.

Catabolyst Build 2020 (Guide) - The Meet & Yeet (Warframe Gameplay)

First time I read about this weapon I was not to impressed. Thankfully, that impression dissipated as soon as I got to spend some quality time with the weapon.
The Catabolyst features a frontal beam while not being a beam weapon. This means that Magnum Force has a nasty effect on the primary fire mode which is concentrated on applying slashes and has a base critical chance of only eleven person. The Critical Multiplier is way above average at two point nine. This means we can get great value out of Bonus Critical After Effects such as Arcane Avenger, Harrow and Kavat buff.
Status chance is sky-high at forty three percent and the default damage is Corrosive which is very advantageous since we can have Corrosive, Viral and Heat on the same weapon.

The weapon also features a weaponized reload. Reloading the weapon will also launch a grenade. The damage, status chance, range and critical chance depends on the state of the reload. A reload from zero will grand the maximum amount of damage at the cost of a slightly longer reload speed. Two point one seconds up from one point seven.
A partial reload will provide only a tenth of the damage with lower Status Chance, Critical Chance and range but will maintain the faster reload speed.

Staticor Build 2020 (Guide) - The Charged Devastation (Warframe Gameplay)

Today I have the pleasure of playing with an outstanding secondary weapon, the Staticor!
What makes this weapon awesome is not necessarily the damage it can deal but more the feel and functionality which is top notch! It fires these plasma balls which explode on contact and can also be fully charged with four ammunition. This will also grant a much larger explosion but with a very greater falloff.

The Staticor sports a low base critical chance at only fourteen percent with a two point for critical multiplier which is right on the edge of worth it for using critical mods. Status chance, fire rate, magazine capacity and reload are all good which makes for a subjectively fun and streamline gameplay experience. Where the Staticor is not so hot is the in Riven Disposition department. For the longest while this has been a rather popular weapon so the riven mods are only one out of five. Bearing this in mind it's not really worth going for a riven on this weapon unless you get a really strong roll.

Quanta Vandal Build 2020 (Guide) - The Double Beam Beast (Warframe Gamep...

What I've always liked about the Quanta Vandal is the fact that it breaks away a little bit from the mundane weapons in Warframe and tries to add some cool, spacey, futuristic touches!
In primary fire mode it's a beam weapon with two beams, one from the top one front the button while the secondary fire mod fire these cubes which can be detonated for some significant damage.

The Quanta Vandal has a base critical chance of twenty two percent for the primary fire mode but only five percent for secondary. Critical multiplier is set to two point four and one point five respectively.
Needless the say, the primary fire mode is the bread and butter of this weapon but the secondary fire mode can prove useful in the right circumstances.
The build will follow current meta guidelines but you do have a little wiggle room on a few mods. I'd recommend you try Fire Rate with Vile Acceleration, extra critical with Argon scope and bit more damage with Heavy Caliber.

Sicarus Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Triple Strike (Warframe Gameplay)

One of the more subjectively beautiful weapons in Warframe is the Sicarus Prime and while it use to be an very powerful weapon back in its prime I want to see if it has aged gracefully.
One of the usability concerns that I always had with this secondary weapon was the climbing recoil mixed-in together with a three bullet burst fire mode. This can mean that the third and second bullet can land off the target completely. Thankfully nowadays we have the weapon Exilus slot which allows us to mod some usability without it feeling like a compromise to damage.

The Sicarus Prime sports a twenty five percent base critical chance with two point zero critical multiplier and a base status chance of twenty percent. Mix all of that in with the fifty base damage and you have a rather appealing combination. The less fortunate aspect is the small magazine capacity of only twenty for but effective eight shots mixed with a two second reload. At the very least the reload animations is subjectively cool.

Warframe - 85k Kuva vs Tenora Riven (The Next Prime Primary?!)

The next Prime Warframe and Weapons are always a hot subject and an educated guess would be to assume that Octavia Prime along with the Tenora Prime and Pandero Prime would be up-next.

Telos Boltor Build 2020 (Guide) - The Angry Porcupine (Warframe Gameplay)

I'm a huge fan of bolt weapons in Warframe. I feel they are way more satisfying and rewarding to use so naturally I gravitate towards the Telos Boltor.

The weapon sports a thirty percent base critical chance with a two point four critical multiplier. This makes it an easy candidate for Hunter Munitions but the weapon's status chance is low at only sixteen percent. Even with that base status chance we're still going to be able to get all the viral procs we need to pup-up the damage of those Slash procs.
Fire rate is solid at nine point three, magazine is big at ninety rounds but the reload is a tad on the lengthy side at two point four seconds. Base Accuracy is decent but I would not force a Heavy Caliber especially considering there are plenty of other options for the final slot.
Projectile flight speed is good by default but I'd suggest you try Terminal Velocity in the weapon Exilus slot as it makes the weapon a bit more usable at longer range shots.

Warframe - 80K Kuva vs Phantasma Riven (For 👋My Friends👋 That Quit)

The Phantasma holds a very special place for me and I'm super excited to redo the full review but before that I'm going to roll a riven for it and see if I get lucky!

Warframe - Mirage Prime Eidolon Hunter is Alive!

Long story short, Stay in the moonlight to get your Eclipse damage buff and have fun. I'd also like to point out that this does not change the Volt meta but it does add a dash of diversity to a stale activity, namely Eidolon Hunting.

Zakti Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Flatulent Stapler (Warframe Gameplay)

Together with Nezha Prime we got the Guandao Prime and Zakti Prime. I had high hopes for the Zakti Prime. The old one was just a primer for Condition Overload and it looks like the new one is to.

The Weapon fires projectiles that stick to surfaces and detonate in a gas cloud after one second. The damage is average the critical stats are still very low and the status chance received a massive buff, forty two percent.

Having Fun With Nihil - Warframe Glassmaker Finale

Convectrix Build 2020 (Guide) - From Chump to Champion (Warframe Gameplay)

The Convectrix was never really a fan favorite. Why would it be? All that should change now since the Convectrix is one of the few winners of the Status and Damage Type changes brought at the start of the year.

The weapon features a huge status chance, forty five percent per beam and it fires two even thou it takes about a second for the two to meet in the center. The Alt fire features a scissor-like motion of the two beams which is not super usable or fun in my option. Critical chance is low at sixteen percent but the base multiplier is nice at two point four which means it's still worth building critical on the weapon but I would dich Blunderbuss in favor of Laser Sight as long as you are comfortable with the gameplay condition. Being a beam weapon we also get two damage applications per ammo which means two sources of a potential proc. This is one of the reasons why the Convectrix can apply a huge amount of statuses to a target. Add the Convectrix only mod Efficient Beams to the mix and you have all the makings for a an absolute Damage Powerhouse.

Prisma Twin Gremlins Build 2020 (Guide) - The Auto Bolters (Warframe Gam...

Everybody has their favorite weapons in Warframe and I'm no different! Today I have the absolute pleasure of revisiting one of my favorite secondary weapons in Warframe, The Prisma Twin Gremlins.
The weapon features an automatic trigger, fast fire rate, awesome reload speed at zero point nine seconds, good damage, little recoil but it is a projectile based weapon. This can be alleviated somewhat by using Terminal Velocity in the weapon Exilus slot.
Critical chance is also good twenty three percent with a slightly below average multiplier at one point nine. Status chance is also good at twenty three percent and the weapon features a high Riven Mod disposition at four out of five meaning that Riven Mods will be outstanding for the Prisma Twin Gremlins.

As for a build you can go in a number of different ways. Corrosive works well as-well as Viral and Heat. Even Maim is viable on the weapon and it will make Slash proc priority number one. For an option slot I'd recommend Scorch, Hydraulic Crosshairs or even Magnum Force in combination with either Targeting Subsystems or Terminal Velocity.

Lenz Build 2020 (Guide) - A Tribute To Raw Damage (Warframe Gameplay)

One of the weapons that benefited from the uninspired removal of self-damage in Warframe is the Lenz and today it's finally time to update it!
The Lenz has aged well and despite the lackluster changes brought to Warframe at the start of twenty-twenty the Lenz maintains a solid position among Primary weapons even thou the core build has not changed that much in the past two years.

The weapon sports the highest base critical chance of all primary weapons in the game at fifty percent with a decent two point zero critical multiplier and an abysmal five percent status chance. The appeal of the Lenz lies in the functionality. The weapon fires arrows that explode one point three seconds after making contact and also guarantees a cold status proc on all targets in range so they are kept in the blast radius of the weapon.
Riven disposition is also decent on the Lenz sitting at a cool three out of five and considering the high base damage the weapon has you can get to crazy high damage amounts coupled together with insane critical strikes. I'd advise looking into Multishot as a primary boosting stat for your riven followed by Critical Chance, Damage and Critical damage. A harmless negative would also prove very beneficial.

Akbronco Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - Two Teapots One Mod (Warframe Gameplay)

With the release of the latest expansion for Warframe we got a new mod tailored to the Akbronco Prime. Namely, the Damzav-Vati which adds two hundred and forty percent viral damage to the weapon and prompted me to update the guide.

While Damzav-Vati ads a good amount of power to the weapon the Akbronco Prime still suffers from the same AK usability issues it always has. Low Magazine capacity, jumpy recoil, long reload time and a terrible spread that forces you into melee range in order to get full damage.
Critical stats for the weapon are also weak with only six percent base critical chance but a decent critical multiplier at two point zero which means it's worth using bonus critical chance additive after effects such as Arcane Avenger.
The Damage the weapon deals is m

Phage Build 2020 (Guide) - The Tentacle Monster (Warframe Gameplay)

The Mainline changes that kicked-off twenty twenty for Warframe had a devastating effect on a lot of weapons but some came out the other side smelling like roses. One such happy case is the Phage.
The Phage is a beam Shotgun sporting a limited range of twenty five meters and fires by default seven beams that wiggle. The wiggle is just a graphic effect and it has no bearing on the weapons accuracy. Going into aim mode will focus the beams on the center of the crosshairs but analog adjustment is also possible for a front cone-like effect.

The weapon sports Viral damage by default with a base critical chance of nineteen percent and a solid status chance of fifteen and a half per beam plus the basic critical multiplier of two point zero. This might not sound like something fantastic but since we now no longer need to force the true one hundred percent status chance this means we can have Corrosive, Viral and Heat on the weapon while retaining Critical Chance and Critical Damage and Hunter Munitions as-well. This is what makes the Phage extremely powerful and can run with the best of them when it comes to single target damage.
