With the Easter Holidays upon us I was reminiscing about some of my old times in Warframe and the people I use to have fun with. This also gives me a chance to show you my complete Riven Mod Collection along with some of my thoughts on the weapons they belong to.

Akbolto Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - My Favorite Secondary ❤️ (Warframe Gameplay)
We're looking at a projectile base semi-automatic pair of pistols which fire bolt projectiles. This means that you need to lead your targets even thou the projectiles travel speed is relativity high.
Base Critical chance is high at thirty six percent and the Critical Multiplier is also strong at two point eight. Status chance is the lower point of the weapon sitting at only fourteen percent and the weapon is punctured based primarily although there is a negligible amount of impact and slash as-well.
As before the weapon performs decent if not great with a variety of builds. The safest bet when it comes to elemental combos would the Viral damage ever since the first mainline patch of 2020 which destroyed any sort of build diversity we had and instead replaced everything with even more generic builds that before.

Opticor Build 2020 (Guide) - Say 🧀Cheese🧀 (Warframe Gameplay)
About a year ago we finally got a variant for the Opticor but it was a departure from the original recipe. Some players still wanting to experience the original feel of the Opticor. Me being one supporter of the OG Opticor.
The weapon has a very long charge time and it can be fired fully charged or half charged nut the damage will also be half of what it could be. By default the Opticor ha a staggering fourteen hundred damage total. Critical chance is decent at twenty percent and an above average critical multiplier of two point five. All this makes for a weapon that hits very slowly but about as hard as a freight train when build correctly.
Speaking of build, the Opticor ca be build in a couple of different ways. You can max out your critical stats and simply go for Hunter Munitions as the value of the slashes are just hilarious but you can also go for a straight-up elemental build for the biggest wallop worth of damage in an instant.

Arca Plasmor Build 2020 (Guide) - What Have They Done To You!? (Warframe Gameplay)
For the longest time the Arca Plasmor was my favorite shotgun in Warframe but time moves on and thing changed. Today we'll find out if the Arca Plasmor ca still pack a pun with the right Build. The biggest issues that the Plasmor faces are the careless status mechanic and status effect changes. Ever since the weapon has under-performed no matter how much time or effort is sunk into this once glorious weapon.
Base Critical chance is good at twenty two percent but the base critical multiplier is sub-par at only one point six. Status chance is also solid at twenty eight percent base but if you take into account the low fire rate, magazine capacity and lengthy reload than it doesn't look all that appealing anymore. The Strength of the Arca Plasmor was always the massive projectile it fires which has the capability of going through multiple enemies with three meters of width and body Punchthrough. This has not changed so if you're looking for some AoE clear for lower level content than look no further than the Arca Plasmor!

Aklex Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Dual Deagles (Warframe Gameplay)
The Aklex Prime is the first weapon ever to require Mastery Rank of fifteen but it was never one of the most powerful secondary weapons to build. What it lacks in raw dps it makes up for in pure epic style. The weapon sounds like thunder and it hits like a runaway train but it does have some usability issues.
The recoil is obnoxiously high but Steady Hands in the new weapon Exilus mod slot will fix the build. Reload is also on the exaggerated side at three seconds. I recommend using Stunning Speed if you can't stand the long reload duration.
On the plus side the weapon has very good base stats. Twenty five percent critical chance with a multiplier of two point zero and a status chance of twenty five percent. Sadly most of the damage is puncture which works great when dealing with heavily armored targets but is an issue if you want to proc slash on your targets. For that one would need a minus puncture riven and you would also have to use main on the Aklex Prime Build.
Speaking of Riven mods, the disposition is only two out o five but the prices for Aklex Rivens are decent. To be perfectly honest I don't understand how this weapon is so popular but it is what it is.
Another topic of note is that the weapon is only available when Baro brings the Axi A2 relics so you can either buy the parts from the trade chat or you can wait until The Void Trader decides to bring the goods.

Warframe - Scarlet Spear Guide (Everything You Need To Know)
About a week ago we got a new even called Scarlet Spear which was horrifically buggy. Only now after about a week can guide on Scarlet Spear actually be earnestly made. Even today there are still a ton of bugs but the event is now playable and farm-able.
The reason to farm the event is a couple of new weapons. The Basmu and the Ceti Lacera. The Basmu is worth the farm but it's certainly not one of the best primary weapons I have ever seen.
More importantly you can get the Arcanes which are normally obtained by doing Eidolon Hunting. A legendary R0 Energize will set you back for thousand Scarlet Spear points so the farm is real. Because of this, prices for Legendary Arcane such as Arcane Energize have dropped heavily so Eidolon Hunting has no real point during the event.

Corinth Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Golden Rose (Warframe Gameplay)
The Corinth is a well-known shotgun in Wraframe which packs one hell of a punch so naturally when the Prime variant was announced I was excited. Turns out I did not get excited for nothing and the Corinth Prime is one hell of a weapon when build correctly.
The Buckshot or primary fire mode has remained the same in terms of damage, critical chance and critical damage but the status chance seen a massive fifty percent increase from six percent to nine percent. Keep in mind this is a per pellet status chance increase which is more than significant.

Basmu Build 2020 (Guide) - The Venomous Snake (Warframe Gameplay)
The Basmu is a mix between the Acceltra and the Nukor but as a Jack of all trades it's a master of none.
The weapon sports two fire modes mirroring the mentioned weapon so in primary you have these mini-rockets that explode on contact in a one point seven meter radius dealing heat damage while the projectile itself deals electricity damage. In this mode we are looking at an below average critical chance of only fifteen percent and a decent critical multiplier of two point zero.
The secondary fire mode has two beams whit a limited range of nine meters which currently cannot be increased with Sinister Reach fro some reason. In this fire mode the weapon has an amazing critical multiplier of four point eight but a base critical chance of only two percent so bonus additive after critical chance effects are a must for this mode.

Prisma Gorgon Build 2020 (Guide) - The King of the Gorgons (Warframe Gameplay)
The Prisma Gorgon is the best iteration of the three versions that we have. It sports great critical stats at thirty percent base with two point three multiplier. On the downsides of the weapon is the low base status chance and high impact damage. Impact was changed in the last mainline patch to be even more disruptive to Gameplay.
Build Diversity has also taken a massive hit since the Over-buffing of Viral damage. Corrosive damage can no longer compete even when hitting Ferrite Armor while Gas damage has been completely destroyed and blast is as undesirable as ever. Keeping all of this in mind the only choice becomes Viral damage in combination with the most ridiculously overpowered mod for primary critical weapons Hunter Munitions.

Warframe - The Scarlet Spear Experience
I think comments are pointless at this time but as a general recommendation I would say wait for the developer to make the content playable so you can have an enjoyable experience.
At its core Scarlet Spear is a nice idea that might keep your interest for a week or so. More if the developer present actual meaningful updates.
This is not an endgame, this is not the next big thing, this is just a nice little update to tie use over until we get something more meaningful. Or at the very least this is what I'm hoping.
As it stands now at release it's barely playable.

The Potato Buddies (Episode 1) - Don't Buy a Bad PSU (Destiny 2 Gameplay Zero Hour)
This is the start of a new series where me and my buddies play whatever games we want and share our experiences with you in the hope that you get a kick out of it.
Today we have Destiny 2 on the menu and some kind of Dungeon named Zero Hour. At the end of said dungeon an awesome weapon named Outbreak but we're having some difficulty completing the challenge this being our FIRST TIME TRYING IT.

Mara Detron Build 2020 (Guide) - The Pint-Sized Pop (Warframe Gameplay)
For the better part of two years I have been recommending the Mara Detron as one of the best secondary weapons in Warframe. Recent status mechanic and elemental changes seek to change that so today we'll have a look at how the Mara Detron should be Build after the new changes and what kind of performance we can expect out of it.
Let's get one thing out of the way really quick. The weapon is nowhere near it's old performance level. Not by a long-shot. This does not mean that the weapon is not worth building however as it can still pack a considerable punch and is fully capable of taking-out high level targets.

Strun Wraith Build 2020 (Guide) - The Bounty Shotgun (Warframe Gameplay)
Once upon a time the Strun Wraith was an absolutely outstanding shotgun fully capable of melting high level targets. Time passes, things change and the Strun Wraith needs a new build in order to perform as the old one hundred percent true status chance build can no longer offer great results.
The status chance changes hit the Strun Wraith hard and now we're forced to focus more on obtaining critical chance slashes through the use of Hunter Munitions. This was a viable option in the past but before it was only an option and not the must have. Sadly with the new changes build diversity has been shattered on a lot of weapons and we no longer have as many viable builds to chose from. On the other hand this makes building weapons a bit more foolproof which I'm starting to believe was the whole point to these changes.

Dex Sybaris Build 2020 (Guide) - The Burst Slasher Revised (Warframe Gameplay)
The Dex Sybaris is a burst rifle that we get for free as a part of the Warframe yearly celebration. The weapon is on par with the prime version with its own story to tell.
Critical chance is very good at thirty five percent base which makes it a prime candidate for Hunter Munitions build. The Status chance is very low at only ten percent and the ideal elemental combo will be viral by default thanks to the recent status effects changes.
Because of the recent changes the Dex Sybaris lost a bit of build diversity but hopefully the developer will not leave things as is.
Another option you have in terms of build is to go full critical chance and critical damage with Argon Scope and Bladed rounds. Thou this seemed to offer more modest performance in comparison to using the Viral sixty-sixty mods. As always, I showcase both and you chose whatever you prefer.

Dex Furis Build 2020 (Guide) - Beginner's Bullet Hose (Warframe Gameplay)
The Warframe celebration always comes bearing gifts! If those gifts are actually worth something is another story.
Today we'll be diving deeper into the Dex Furis. A Warframe yearly anniversary weapon which uses Afuris rivens. So in essence it's a stronger version of the Afuris. It presents a unique design which is subjectively a lot more awesome than the standard version.
We're looking at a magazine capacity of one hundred with a strong fire-rate of twenty, critical chance of only fourteen percent with a decent critical multiplier of two point zero. Status chance is strong on the other hand at twenty eight percent sporting the full array of IPS with puncture being the highest by a significant margin.

Dread Build 2020 (Guide) - The Stalker's Coup de Grâce (Warframe Gameplay)
I don't remember my first Warframe encounter with the Stalker. But I do remember finding the Dread blueprint in my foundry. This was the start of a beautiful friendship!
Today we'll be re-taking a look at the Dread bow so we can Gage what effects did the status and IPS chances had on it.
We'll start from the old standard build and deconstruct it to see if we have any better options. The Dread is very powerful when it slashes and it can easily one-shot high level targets so name of the game becomes ensuring as much as we can that slash proc. This lead me into a situation where I recommended a mod I never had before. Namely, Hammer Shot.
While the updated build is similar in terms of performance to the old Viral build it's still a wee bit better. This showcases how little power the Dread lost because of all the recent changes and for that I'm glad!

Tigris Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Tiger's Tale (Warframe Gameplay)
The Tigris Prime has been siting at the top of the DPS charts for quite the while. The build was simple, straight forward and relatively cheap if we take into account the power level of this gorgeous shotgun.
With more recent updates status chance got a rework, enemies got weaker scaling and all the elements got touch-ups so things have changed a bit.
For the build we will still aim to get as much Status chance as we can without introducing unwanted elements or combos. Three of the sixty-sixty mods plus Shotgun Savvy which recently got a buff. Due to the low base critical chance of the weapon and the fact that Blunderbuss is so weak we will be ignoring modded critical chance. We can still go for Crit but only using bonus additive effects.

Change for Change’s Sake - New Old Status Effects In Warframe
Today we got some rather interesting news. Or so I thought. The status effects in Warframe will get reworked as a direct consequence of changing how the status mechanic works in Warframe.
