The Kuva Brakk revitalized the Brakk and now is one of the few weapons in Warframe that can offer both true one hundred percent status chance with only three of the sixty sixty mods plus a healthy dose of critical chance and critical damage. Something that the Mara Detron lacks. While the Detron has issues on the critical side it makes-up for it through it's high two hundred and eight base Radiation damage. The Kuva Brakk can't reach such high amounts even with a perfect sixty percent roll. Do try to bear in mind that I recommend using a Toxin Progenitor such as Saryn for your Kuva Brakk. While the duel between the two was very interesting the outcome was clear. The Kuva Brakk is clearly the superior weapon. Especially considering that both weapons have Riven Mod disposition of three out of five. This does not mean that the old Mara Detron is bad weapon and I would highly encourage you to give both a try!

Mara Detron VS Kuva Brakk (Comparison) - The Best Pocket Shotgun (Warframe Gameplay)
For the longest while I have recommended the Mara Detron as being one of the best secondary weapons in the game. With the introduction of the Kuva Brakk the status-quo has changed in a big way.

Warframe (Gameplay) - Sentient Ship & Erra Quest Live Reaction (Spoilers)
I finally reached the Veil and now I can start farming the Sentient ship! With this comes the Erra quest which is next step lore-wise for Warframe.
At the end of the Erra quest you do get the Shedu blueprint but you will still have the farm all the necessary components.
I love the design of the sentient ship tile-set and I hope we get to see it a lot more! As for the quest itself it was enjoyable but it left me wanting more so hopefully the "New War" update will come sooner rather than later.

Kuva Quartakk Build 2020 (Guide) - The Quad Blaster (Warframe Gameplay)
I always admired the Quartakk but truth be told I never thought it was strong enough considering all the competition the weapon faced. Enter the Kuva Quartakk which improves on the original in almost every single way.
We got more base damage and critical chance plus an alternative automatic fire mode with a base status chance of thirty three percent.
After some testing it became apparent that the weapon is a lot stronger when used in Semi mode as it has a much larger critical chance and the base damage is the same. This means we can better leverage that overpowered mode Hunter Munitions and get some much needed slashes on our targets.
The weapon did very well with a cheap build based on Viral damage and slashes, needing only three shots to take out a high level Corrupted Heavy Gunner.
Riven Mod disposition sits at three out of five for the Kuva Quartakk just like all the new Kuva weapons. The Developer is thinking about introducing this individual riven disposition system on all weapon in Warframe.
Overall the Kuva Quartakk is a solid improvement over the original but I can't help of feel that the automatic mode is a bit gimpy and does not help the weapon that much. A plus would be the fact that you can use that automatic fire mode to combo with the Semi mode. Strip some armor off your target with the highers status chance automatic mode and finish it off with a semi blast with more critical chance.
The Kuva Quartakk is a decent weapon that should serve you well but it's definitely not everybody's coup of tea.

Quellor Build 2020 (Guide) - The Dax Workhorse (Warframe Gameplay)
The Quellor is presented to us as being the Workhrose of the Dax that served aboard Railjacks. It has a standard automatic assault rifle mode and a very strong secondary fire mode which will consume seventy five ammo and release a powerful blast.
The Stats differ greatly between the two fire modes with the Primary favoring status chance and the secondary favoring critical chance. As for a build the hybrid setup is a good balance for both fire mods but you will have to make a choice on what you want to prioritize on Riven Mods. I would recommend using at least one fire rate mod such as Vile Acceleration which helps greatly both fire modes. Another solid idea for the build is to populate the weapon Exilus mod slot with some extra projectile flight speed which will mitigate one of the weak points of the secondary fire mode, that being the super low fall-off.
The handling of the weapon is solid and I can only really complain about the incredibly high reload time of four second. I don't see any reason why such an absurd reload time is needed.
A workhorse is not supposed to be the best but it is supposed to be reliable and to be totally honest I'm not impressed. The Quellor is not bad by any stretch of the imagination and I like the design and animations. I just wished they would have gave it something a bit more special. Decent, not great. Which does sound like something you would say about a workhorse.

Warframe (Gameplay) - Empyrean Railjack First Missions Live on PC (Spoilers)
With the game awards we finally got the release of Empyrean and with it a ton of content.
The main focus of the update is the Railjack and space ship battles together with your crew. There are multiple roles you can fill in your squad or you can simply do whatever you want. Fly the ship, man the guns, deploy and board enemy ship by taking out their reactors. Fix damage that is done to your Railjack and craft consumables in real-time such as ammo or repair mats.
The Railjack is also fully Customizable. You can use skin, set colors, even plaster Glyphs across the hull.
Upgrade various parts and features like defense, offence and maneuverability and also develop your own skills at controlling and using your Railjack.
For now this is just the tip of the iceberg and there's plenty farm and upgrade before we see what a fully tricked-out Railjack can do.
As a first impression, I am enjoying Railjack and I did have fun playing the update with my friends but ( In typical Digital Extremes fashion) there are tons upon tons of bugs and glitches to deal with and they can get annoying so bear that one in mind. If history is any indication it will take at least a few weeks before the content is fully playable.
As a bit of a side note, I'm also very disappointed in the way that Empyrean was promoted but that's a topic for another time and I'll bear that one in mind.

Aksomati Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Enhanced Bombardment (Warframe Gameplay)
Many secondary weapons get released in Warframe so it's easy for some to get lost in the crowd. The Aksomati was a secondary weapon that I always appreciated but it could not compete with the more powerful available options. Enter the Aksomati Prime which hopefully will change that.
The Prime variant received a slightly higher magazine of eighty, slightly better fire-rate, ten percent extra damage and the biggest buff of all an extra ten percent status chance for a total of eighteen (up for eight). As you can see, much like the Baza Prime, the Aksomati Prime was a very cautious buff on the part of the developer. Why exactly that is I'm not sure but maybe they didn't want to release something to strong before going on vacation and leaving an overpowered weapon run rampant. The Weapon performs well with an elemental setup decent at best with a slash based setup and yes, it does outperform the normal Aksomati by a significant margin. Let's be clear, this is not a weak weapon by any stretch of the imagination but it's not exactly a front runner either. If you are looking for a good bullet hose style of secondary than the Aksomati Prime is a strong option provided the build is correct. Riven Disposition three out of five which is individual nowadays and I would recommend you get at least one hundred percent critical chance than look for Multishot, critical damage and/or damage on your Riven Mod.

Baza Prime Build 2020 (Guide) - The Silent But Deadlier (Warframe Gameplay)
Together with Ivara Prime we got the announcement of the Baza Prime and I was super excited because I loved the original Baza.
Sadly the stat increases for the prime version are not that hot but they do amount to a decent buff overall.
We get a "massive" two percent extra critical chance while the critical multiplier remains the same. Status chance also sees a small increase, from ten percent to fourteen percent. Damage remains the same but the magazine capacity is increased by fifty percent and the reload time has been decreased from one point four to one point one.
Just like the normal version The Baza Prime performed well with most builds I threw at it but it still remains a mediocre performer in terms of damage but a champ in terms of usability. This is why I find the choice of keeping the same damage and layout a bit puzzling. To make a long story very short if you want a slightly better version of the Baza than go straight for the prime. The biggest buff is the increase to the magazine capacity in combination with the reload speed which results in better up-time and more streamlined Gameplay. So Yes! The Baza Prime is totally worth building but sadly it's not that huge of an upgrade over the normal version.

Kuva Tonkor Build 2020 (Guide) - Back from Retirement (Warframe Gameplay)
Once upon a time the Tonkor was the weapon to have. Times change, nerfs happen and the Tonkor fell in a mediocrity Limbo. Enter the Kuva Tonkor with more Critical Chance, status chance and potentially a lot more damage depending on how lucky you were with your roll.
The progenitor I recommend is Saryn so you get a toxin base weapon but Heat and Electricity are never a bad idea.
Critical chance has gone up to thirty percent and the status chance is now seventeen percent up from ten. I was hoping that the Kuva Tonkor would have gotten a cool new gimmick like the Kraken or the Seer but no such luck.
As it stand now the weapon is fully capable of annihilating high level targets with just a couple of hits and I would recommend you exploit Hunter Munitions in your builds.
A cool trick would be to use Terminal Velocity as a weapon Exilus mod slot which will make it a lot easier to get the head-shot damage multiplier which matters a lot of critical weapons.
Overall I find the Kuva Tonkor to be a great improvement over the original and a weapon that is one hundred percent worth using. Especially now with the new weapon Exilus mod slot that can help us in the usability department or in the self damage department with Cautious Shot. Recommend!

Warframe Riven Disposition Changes - Acceltra Gets Nerfed (Empyrean Patch)
Another major patch comes with Riven Disposition changes and this time the Acceltra seems to be the one that stands out as a nerf. Many other buffs on several prominent weapons. This is most likely due to the fact that Kuva weapons are in the spotlight now and most players use them or chase after them.
Perhaps the most important thing to note is that we are still not seeing any melee riven re-balancing and this is also the first time DE is balancing "dispositions per weapon instead of per weapon family".
You can find the official info on nerfs and buffs here:

Kuva Chakkhurr Build 2020 (Guide) - Standard & Eidolon Hunting Builds (Warframe Gameplay)
Along with the Kuva Lich system we got a whole bunch of weapons. Among them the Chakkhurr stood out thanks to its high base critical chance of fifty percent and two point three base critical multiplier. When you see stats such as these you immediately think about Eidolon Hunting with the Kuva Chakkhurr and while the weapon is not what I was expecting, I can happily report that it's fully capable of One-Shotting Synovia with no Riven Mod whatsoever in the hands of Mirage Prime.
For average everyday missions the story becomes similar to that of sniper rifles in the sense that there are far better and more usable options out there than the Chakkhurr. The advantage that the Kuva Chakkhurr has is that it can be very gratifying for the sharpshooter that only goes for head-shots. The weapon having an extra fifty percent head-shot damage by default. So if you're the type that always goes for head-shots than you're going to love the Chakkhurr.
One last trick that the weapon does is an area of effect explosion when the projectile makes contact. The area is only two point seven meters and the damage it deals is rather mediocre. The larger portion of damage lies in the projectile making contact with a target.
Now for it's many usability issues. Abysmal reload speed at three point three seconds. Projectile based attack means probability of leading targets. Very slow fire rate. Very low ammunition reserves drawing from the sniper ammo pool.
There are a lot of usability issues with the Kuva Chakkhurr but when that projectiles makes head-shot contact with the target and it simply gets obliterated you understand why this weapon is kept so heavily in check.
As for Eidolon Hunting, It's a more than competent weapon in the hands of Mirage Prime and it can guaranteed you one-shots with the correct builds and no Riven Mod Required. That said, it's not the best Eidolon Hunting weapon but it's far from being the worse and it's definitely worth investing in.
I'm going to strongly recommend this weapon for Eidolon Hunts in the aforementioned combo but advise against using it in normal missions unless you're the sharpshooter type.

Tigris Prime VS Exergis (Comparison) - Battle for the Crown (Warframe Gameplay)
Today we will be comparing two outstanding shotguns that can deliver epic amounts of slash damage! The Exergis and the Tigris Prime!
While these two weapons do mostly the same thing there are a lot of differences between them. First of all the Tigris Prime has a Duplex trigger system which a lot of players don't enjoy. Can't say that I'm a fan myself but it can be put to good use.
The Exergis only fires three pellets by default which results in higher value slashes but a lot less in number. This is why it's very important to make sure that Slash has the highest chance at applying a status effect.
The Tigris Prime needs all the four sixty sixty mods to reach the magic true one hundred percent status chance before multishot and the Exergis only need three thanks to its thirty six percent base status chance.
The Prime has a huge advantage in the damage layout and ultimately comes-out on top but the Exergis enjoys a riven disposition of three out of five. With the right riven the Exergis can be absolutely insane! Problem is getting such a Riven but at least the possibility is there. The Tigris Prime having a riven mod disposition of only one out of five.

Kuva Karak Build 2019 (Guide) - The Epic Plain Jane (Warframe Gameplay)
One of the weapons that was a bit harder to obtain for me was the new Kuva Karak. Thankfully through a viewer I was able to finally bring you this absolutely epic assault rifle.
The Kuva Kara is a no thrills, standard Assault Rifle. You point, you shoot, you win. The advantage to this one is the fact that all start are encouraging. From the Crit chance to the status chance to the magazine size, fire rate, reload speed, IPS layout, in a word Everything. There's not a single bad stat on this weapon and it has performed very well with mostly any build I through at it. Speaking of which, the ideal build from my point of view would be hybrid slash through the use of Hunter Munitions and two of the sixty-sixty mods forming the Viral elemental combo. This way you can leverage two slash proc sources.
Riven Disposition for the Kuva Kara is also solid at a standard three out of five and I would recommend you prioritize critical chance till one hundred percent after which Multishot, damage or critical damage with a harmless negative or minus impact riven.
I have one bone to pick with this "old gal". It's to rudimentary for a game such as Warframe but that's entirely subjective. If you're into classic style assault rifles than look no further the Kuva Karak. It can pack a serious punch, has a bit of build diversity and there's not a single objective bad stat on it. Even the recoil is basically Baza level.
Objectively Recommend. Subjectively needs more Space.

Warframe (Gameplay) - Completed Railjack & First Flight (Spoilers)
The Railjack is finally complete after three days and now we can finally board it and check-out what is inside. Mostly everything is non-functional at this time but there was a bug that allowed us to see intro sequence to Empyrean.
So far so good, everything looks neat and we also got to use the Fire Extinguisher but we need to wait on the second phase of Empyrean to see and play more.

Kuva Ogris Build 2019 (Guide) - Such BuM BuM (Warframe Gameplay)
I have always been a fan of the Ogris but it always needed something a bit more than it had. The Kuva Ogris seeks to achieve that but did it manage it or not?.
The Kuva Ogris has a huge base damage increase as-well as a good chunk of base status chance increase. The weapon is also semi-automatic instead of charge which is another big plus. Unfortunately it only received a for percent base critical chance increase which is still not enough to make critical mods viable.
The Magazine capacity has also been decreased to three from five which is a bit of a bummer considering we can fire the weapon semi style now.
For a base elemental i would recommend a Toxin progenitor such as Saryn as the weapon works very well versus Corpus faction with a gas build. Than again, what does not work well versus corpus?
Nightwatch Napalm is also a mod worth mentioning but the damage it ads is not very high and untimely it's more for the gimmick.
If you plan on using this weapon with a frame which is not invulnerable than you might want to invest in Cautions Shot. While the mod takes a lot of Endo and credits to max-out the good news is that it only takes the weapon Exilus mod slot.
The Kuva Ogris receives the same Riven Mod disposition of three out of five applied by default to all Kuva weapons and the regular Ogris maintains its individual Riven Disposition. This change is set to come to all weapons in Warframe but we have no date as of yet.
I found the Kuva Ogris to be a decent upgrade to the regular Ogris but it still lacks a decent base critical chance which keeps the weapon from being outstanding. It still has its use case scenarios and overall I would call this one decent but not great.

MK1 Braton Build 2019 (Guide) - The Veteran's Weapon (Warframe Gameplay)
Today we'll have a look at the MK1-Braton and what you need to know about it. This comes as a direct results of our recent pool!
The MK1-Braton is a new player weapon that does not have a lot of power and is simply meant as a introductory weapon in Warframe.
You should not invest in this weapon as it is extremely weak no matter how you chose to build it. Yes, even with a Riven Mod. If you are new to Warframe and don't know in what to invest in than I would suggest you have a look at the Hek Shotgun that can be obtained at Mastery Rank Four.
There, it's done! Let it not be said that I don't deliver.

Kuva Twin Stubbas Build 2019 (Guide) - The DubbaStubba (Warframe Gameplay)
The Original version of the Stubba was never really something fantastic but the Kuva Twin Stubbas improves greatly on that original recipe!
The Kuva version comes with a much higher magazine of one hundred and fourteen, better fire rate and a much higher status chance clocking-in at thirty one percent! The weapon maintain its original critical chance and critical multiplier so you can simply see it as a different version of the Dex Furis which is great thing considering that the Dex is not available all year around!
The weapon ca be build for slash but the issues because the high base impact value which leads us to use Maim to offset this aspect which is definitely not ideal but it does work!
The weapon shines a lot brighter when used with a straight elemental combo such as Corrosive or Gas depending on what the situation calls for. With that in mind I would recommend a Gas or Electricity or Heat progenitor when trying to farm Kuva Lich for it.
Riven disposition sits at three out of five which is normal for any brand new weapon added to Warframe.
In the past spray and pray weapons such as these use to have a big issue with ammunition but now since we got the Plexilus mod slot for primary and secondary weapons we can fit a ammo mutation mod and rest a lot easier!
Overall I found the Kuva Twin Stubbas to be a powerful secondary weapon, one that I believe has room in mostly anybody's collection. Being an automatic Hitscan weapon it stands-out through its usability and raw damage per second. The one gripe I have is the climbing recoil it posses but it does stabilize at full fire rate and this can be further alleviated by using Steady Hands in the Plexilus slot.
Recommed.

Warframe (Guide) - How to get a Vasca Kavat
This is a complete tutorial on how to obtain or farm the Vasca Kavat in Warframe.
The process is simple and straight-forward and should only take you ca couple of minutes.
Make sure you have all the necessary components before you being.
You will Need:
- One Kavat with two imprints left to be made or two Kavats with one Imprint each and of-course two blank imprints.
- All the elements for a Kavat Breeding, power core, ten genetic codes, one free stasis slot.
The Spawn location where you can farm the wild Vasca Kavat is behind Gara Toht Lake on the plains of Eidolon and is shown on in the guide.
You can also use a Echo Lure to get the Vasca Kavat but when tried they did not seem to want to bite.
The New Vasca Kavat comes with two new mods, the more notable of the two being Transfusion which allows the Vasca to resurrect you during the bleed out phase by sacrificing twenty percent of its health. The internal cool down on this ability seems to be ninety seconds.
The Second species specific mod is called Draining Bite and it allows the Vasca Kavat to deal four hundred damage to a target and restore then percent of its health as this is the vampire kavat.

Warframe - Chat With An Old Friend (Rambling Vlog)
Me and my friend Acheron get together and discuss Warframe. Days passed and days to come.
This in essence is a chat between two players that outlines a bit of feedback from the Veteran perspective and a few ideas on how to further improve the game. Give what this is, I would encourage you to sit back, relax and enjoy but don't forget to take it with a grain of salt.
