Gaze Kitgun Build 2019 (Guide) - Weak You Say? (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the Kitgun options available we find the Gaze chamber which currently is the least popular. This is hardly surprising considering the immense strength of the other available options but none of this means that the Gaze is not a powerful weapon.

For the Showcased Gaze Build we have a combination of Splat and Haymaker which results in a high critical chance of thirty-nine percent and a two-point-three critical multiplier. This comes at the cost of status chance, only seventeen percent with a magazine of forty-three and a reload of one point seven seconds.
It's worth keeping in mind that the Grip on the Gaze will control the range of the beam. Haymaker providing twenty-two meters. The fire-rate remains constant regardless of the grip.

Throughout all my tests the Gaze performed very well and the weapon is fully suited to dispatching high-level targets so if you are looking for a beam secondary weapon than the Gaze is a strong option for single target damage. The weapon does have default punch-through on the weapon but AoE-wise it's simply not up to par with other available options.

Overall I find the Gaze to be a strong secondary weapon, the only problem being that it lives in the shadows of its brothers and doesn't get the chance to shine. Give it a try.

Chroma vs Mirage (Damage Comparison) - Vex Armor vs Eclipse (Warframe Gameplay)

It's always fun to compare damage numbers so today we will be comparing Chroma Prime's Vex Armor Buff with Mirage Prime's Eclipse Buff. Both frames are pretty much maxed, Umbral Build with the same power strength amount of three hundred and eighty-four percent.
Further increasing or decreasing the amount of ability strength will not change the result and Mirage would still do more damage because of how Eclipse works:
This is how Vex Armor works

For Eidolon hunts I recommend Chroma 100% as he is a lot more reliable, has more survivability and Mirage cannot use her Eclipse buff in the dark plus she is a lot more fragile.

Umbra Forma Mirage Prime Build (Stream Footage) - Weapon Testing (Over 1 Mil Damage Opticor Shot)

There's a bit of talk over which frame to use the Umbral Forma on.
For me, things are very simple. The frame you enjoy most, the rest doesn't concern me and in my case that is the lovely Lady Mirage Prime.
I had a blast testing some strong weapon setups with her and as always she is my true blue weapon specialist! I hope you enjoy!

One Year With Warframe (Rambling Vlog)

It's been over a year with Warframe and I wanted to do something special to mark the occasion. After several attempts, I found the most honest way to relay my thoughts on the game was simply to go for it without any script or special structure.
This is atypical content for me and I don't think there will be a lot of it coming in the future, maybe once a year or so.

Stradavar Prime Build 2019 (Guide) - The Slashing Symphony (Warframe Gameplay)

With the introduction of Equinox Prime we also get the Stradavar Prime which features a long list of buffs over the regular version but also a few nerfs as well.
Speaking of nerfs, the riven disposition of the Stradavar was reduced a little with the release of the weapon but the riven mods will still be very strong if you manage to get your hands on one.

The biggest buff is the increase in critical damage multiplier by zero point six in primary and zero point eight in secondary and of course, that's key to any critical weapon. Another important buff would the interchange between puncture and slash damage for the secondary fire mode which means that the Slash build is now tweaked in favor the viral sixty-sixty mods in order to increase the overall slash count.
Other than that we also got a slight base damage increase, higher accuracy, larger magazine, innate one meter worth of punch-through on secondary fire and a small two percent critical chance increase on the secondary fire mode.
A lot of attention was given to the secondary fire mod of the weapon and a lot less to the primary fire mode of the Stradavar Prime.
There are also to significant nerfs, one the lower fire rate on secondary fire and the second would be the fact that secondary fire mode now consumes two ammunition per shot even thou it's not a burst shot or a multi-shot. I'm not really sure what this is about since I don't see multiple bullets and the status chance doesn't seem to get divided either.

Throughout testing it became quickly clear that just like the normal version the Stradavar Prime prefers and performs better with slash base build through Hunter Munitions only this time we will double dip and build viral damage with the sixty-sixty mods.

Another new Prime weapon, another strong primary added to the collection. While the Stradavar doesn't offer anything groundbreaking it does have a certain flair to it and for some players, this might be the ideal combination of firing mods. I'm simply not one of those players.

Warframe - Saturn Six Armor Bundle & Syandana (Rank 30 Nightwave)

It takes a while to grind Nightwave and reach level thirty but we do get a Saturn Six Armor Bundle for it and the Syandana at rank twenty-seven. These are the ones that the wolf wears so you can show-off how much of a grind master you are.
These are cosmetics and have no impact in gameplay and for my two cents, I like the rough football equipment look as it can compliment the look of the right frame.

Mutalist Cernos Build 2019 (Guide) - Spore Cloud Invasion (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the bows in Warframe, we find one that has been taken over by the infestation! The Mutalist Cernos.
The weapon has a very cool gimmick to it, it leaves behind lingering clouds that deal area of effect damage with a very good status chance but a rather poor critical chance. This normally results in a lot of procs depending on how you chose to build the weapon.
You can fully strip armor from targets or you can annihilate corpus units with gas procs that go along with the guaranteed toxin procs.
In terms of damage, the weapon does not do very well and this is mostly because of the low base critical chance but if you factor in the area of effect capabilities than the trade-off becomes more appealing.

Another plus to the weapon would be the Riven Mod disposition of four out of five as it does not share riven disposition with the standard Cernos family. For a stat priority, I would encourage multishot and damage above critical chance as the base is a bit low so the effect wouldn't be fantastic thou it should be mentioned that the cloud can crit and fully charging a shot increases the critical chance and multiplier of the cloud.

It's hard for me to judge a weapon such as this since I don't enjoy this style of gameplay. Warframe is a fast-paced game that doesn't really allow for stationary damage but with a bit of crowd control, it can work very well. If you are the type that enjoys this style of weapon that you can also have a look at the Torid and Pox as the gimmick is mostly similar.

Napalm Grenades on Secura Penta Build (Warframe Gameplay)

Napalm Grenades is a brand new Weapon Augment for the Penta family and long-story-short, it is awesome!
The mod changes how the projectiles look and function, detonating on impact and leaving a feeble area of effect behind. The important part is that you are getting a thirty BASE status chance increase and a huge damage upgrade. Base damage is increased from three hundred and severity five to six hundred and fifty plus impact and blast are gone and only fire damage remains which again is a huge plus.

The Augment can be obtained from Nightwave rank twenty-two but the mod is trade-able so you can also get it from the trade chat.
Overall I see Napalm Grenades as a fantastic addition and it makes the Secura Penta more powerful and subjectively more fun to play. Highly Recommend you give it a shot.

Wild Frenzy on Prisma Grakata Build (Warframe Gameplay)

With the Introduction of Nightwave and the Wolf of Saturn Six we get a brand new weapon augment called Wild Frenzy for the Grakata and of course, it can also be used on the Prisma Grakata.

I ran a bunch of tests and there are some good news and less good news.
First thing is that the ammo refund is to your ammo pool not to the magazine.
Weapon can be interrupted by dashing or rolling.
The Prisma Grakata becomes very hard to manage at four hundred percent extra fire rate and you can use Stabilizer to make it easier to aim. Another worthy recommendation would be punch-through and you can also try some magic with magazine capacity but we're already making a lot of compromises for Wild Frenzy.

To sum up my thoughts on Wild Frenzy, I believe this is not meant to be a "power" mod but rather a cool/fun little option for the Grakata.

Warframe (Guide) - What are Arcanes & Double Stacking (Mechanics Explained & Tested)

Today we will be having a look at Arcanes which are enhancements for your Warframe, Operator, Zaws and Kiguns. For the sake of not spoiling anything, we will keep to Warframe Arcanes.
The guide also includes a showcase on how double stacking the same arcane works in Warframe with the hope of clearing-up as many questions as possible. Sadly for all of us, the UI doesn't do the best job at relaying key information regarding Arcane procs.

Larkspur Build 2019 (Guide) - The Arch-Overlord (Warframe Gameplay)

With the release of Hildryn also came a brand new Arch-Gun called The Larkspur and with it an Amprex-like version for our heavy gun collection!
The weapon features two fire modes. In the primary fire mode the Larkspur sports a high status chance bow low critical chance. The Primary beam does arch to additional enemies and without the use of punch-through it seems that a maximum of five enemies ca be damaged simultaneously. The range of the arch appears to be four meters from my own testing but the wiki claims otherwise.
The Larkspur also appears to be losing damage with each and every single jump. From what I observed approximately twenty percent per jump but I may be wrong as this was rather difficult to accurately test. Finally, the range of the main beam is a staggering forty meters!

The secondary fire mode is a charged shot that releases a plasma bomb with an eight-meter radius. The explosion can do self-damage and the shot can be held-in for about three seconds after its fully charged. The projectile has travel time but no projectile fall-off and it also benefits from "Infinite body punch-through" so aiming for the feet of opponents to get the explosion damage is highly advised.

It's hard for me not to love everything about this weapon. I'm all about spacey-futuristic weapons and this one checks all the right points and has a serious amount of power to back-up its looks! I highly recommend the Larkspur to just about anyone regardless of what build you chose, the weapon does not disappoint.

Prisma Grinlok Build 2019 (Guide) - The Lever-Action Lord (Warframe Gameplay)

Lever-Action Semi Rifles were never really my thing but when Baro brought the Prisma Grinlok I thought I'd give it a shot!
The weapon offers a decent base critical chance of twenty-one percent and an outstanding critical multiplier of two point nine plus a sky-high status chance of thirty-seven percent. The full IPS range is found on the weapon with Slash edging-out the impact and puncture.
So far so good but the main drawback to the weapon lies in what it is. Another strong point of the weapon would its precision and the Grinlok exclusive mod Deadly Sequence that offers two hundred percent critical chance.

The Prisma Grinlok performed very well in testing being capable of one-shot high-level targets with the right build and a small bit of luck. I fully recommend a build centered around slash through the sixty sixty mods making a viral elemental combo and Hunter Munitions. With a build such as this, the weapon double-dips into slash sources.

This is not my style of primary and I can't say I enjoy using this type of rifles but there is no denying that the Prisma Grinlok is a powerful weapon and from my point of view the best lever-action semi rifle to date. If you're the type of player that enjoys those precision one-shots than you will have a blast with this weapon.

Opticor Vandal Build 2019 (Guide) - The Turbocharged Option (Warframe Gameplay)

With the Buried Debts event we also get the Thermia Fractures grind that awards us the new Opticor Vandal. Normally Vandal weapons are direct upgrades to their normal counterparts but in this case, we are looking at more of a side-grade.
The weapon has received buffs to fire rate, charge time, critical chance, critical multiplier, reload speed and magazine capacity but also received a massive sixty percent base damage nerf.

Considering all of this many players are wondering if this is an actual upgrade or not. From a DPS perspective, it is an upgrade but it comes at the cost of personality since what made the Opticor infamous was the huge amount of damage it can deal with a single shot. Perhaps the damage cut was a bit overzealous or we are missing something.
At the very least we now have an option to the weapon. You can either stick with the normal version of the Opticor and its iconic one-shot damage or you can choose the Vandal for its agility, both weapons having the same mastery rank fourteen lockout which further confirms the idea of a side-grade rather than an upgrade.
Availability for the weapon is also iffy' since so far it can only be obtained during the Buried Debts / Thermia Fractures event but at least it comes with an Orokin Catalyst Installed by default.

Taking a more objective look at the weapon, it does pack one serious punch and it's fully capable of demolishing high-level targets. In tests, a Hunter Munitions base build has performed slightly better and now is more viable since the Opticor Vandal has a slightly higher Critical Chance.

What can I say? It's definitely not what I expected and perhaps that's a good thing but somehow I'm still conflicted about the idea of a Vandal weapon being a side-grade. Perhaps if I had not used the normal version before the Vandal I would have thought differently but as things stand now I want to see a base damage increase on the Opticor Vandal. It needs to be an Opticor.

Telos Akbolto Build 2019 (Guide) - The Truth Dispensers (Warframe Gameplay)

Among the weapons we can purchase from the Arbiters of Hexis we find The Telos Akbolto. It differs greatly from the standard version with its status chance being increased to twenty-nine percent at the expense of critical chance which is low at only thirteen percent. Perhaps the best part of this weapon is the fact that it has an innate "Truth" effect which will release a twenty-five-meter radius explosion dealing gas damage upon gaining roughly two thousand affinity.

While testing the weapon I could not shake the feeling that a weapon such as this doesn't carter very well to its status chance strength and while it did decently well I'm going to recommend looking into the prime version if you enjoy a weapon in this style.
Riven disposition for the Akbolto family is fairly low as-well at only two out of five but from my perspective, they are still worth getting within reasonable prices.

Overall it's a decent secondary weapon but no more than that. In a game where you have a ton of options to powerful weapons, mediocrity gets left by the roadside. The Telos Akbolto needs something, something more but I can't say for certain what without making it similar to the other available options. Usually, syndicate weapons sit in-between Prime version and normal versions and this is the case with the Telos Akbolto as-well.

Warframe - Top 10 Primary Weapons 2019

With such a wide variety of weapons to chose from it can be difficult to know what's worth investing in and what's not.

Today we're going to talk about my top 10 primary weapons in Warframe

All of the weapons on the list stand-out from the crowd in one way or another as in Warframe things are often more complicated than XYZ is better than ABC.

Warframe (Guide) - Uranus Spy Mission Rosalind Fast & Easy (Loki Gameplay)

Spy missions can prove a bit problematic. Especially if they decide to show up in your Sortie and you don't know the tricks.

Today I'll show the optimal way to complete the Uranus Spy mission named Rosalind. I'd recommend you go for a Loki Warframe but the mission can be completed easily on any frame as long as you know exactly what you need to do. Even the Archwing sections become a breeze with just a few practice runs.
Go and get that Anasa!

Amprex VS Ignis Wraith (Comparison) - Clash of the Titans (Warframe Gameplay)

Today I have the absolute pleasure of putting two of the best weapons in a head to head battle, The Amprex versus The Ignis Wraith.

While these are some of the most popular and powerful weapons available there are a lot of key differences between the two. The Ignis has a much better area of effect capabilities while the Amprex has a sky-high critical chance of thirty-two percent which opens-up Hunter Munitions possibilities. When it comes to rivens both have a disposition of two out of five so riven mods will be fairly similar in terms of raw power.

Throughout all build tests, these weapons constantly traded blows and flexing their superiority in one area or another. After all that it's hard and somewhat unfair the pick of a clear winner but I will say that if you are looking for AoE above everything then go for the Ignis Wraith! For everything else including build diversity, The Amprex is the way to go!

Warframe (Guide) - What Are Rivens & Riven Disposition (Subjective Analysis)

Well, this one is a bit different from the norm. I started out by wanting to do a guide on what Rivens are but somewhere along the way, I bled-in some of my personal opinions on the whole system. Hopefully, this should get you a much better perspective on my perspective and overall I like that we have a system such as this but I do think a bit of tweaking can make it even better.
